Lessons Learnt from Children

Image
Children are amazing - They have unlimited strength, will power and great learning attitude to learn new things everyday! I'm just so amazed that every single day, my children are growing mentally and physically! So proud of them. Their display made me feel that we, adults must be even stronger than them! I have learnt about Persistence, Courage and Strong Will from them! 1. Persistence Josh with the bicycle in August 2014 Recently, Josh managed to cycle on his own! Two months ago, we bought a bicycle, with additional 2 small back wheels, and he was cycling very fine with it. It was only a month back that Eve decided to remove the back wheels as we feel that he is ready with just the original bicycle. He was quite taken aback of the removal of the small wheels, and we supported him at the back a few times at the park. He is a cautious boy and he will always make sure that we are holding on to his bicycle when he is cycling. Josh on his own bicycle!!...

Wow. This month has zoomed so fast. Already 17 days have gone! I'm really very glad that I have been meeting up with my clients, up to the extent of around 2-3 a day. I'm so happy to see them progressing in their lives. Some getting their own properties, some getting better paying jobs and some even got married! It's really a life business that I'm in. Very happy about it. Definitely it's tiring, on the good side, I manage to have some new insights from my clients such as deals to go such as tree climbing, online nuts delivery and also countries that they have gone! I'm so happy that my clients trust me and my company. I'm really very thankful for it. Blog Recently there is tremendous spike in the daily views of my blog. It used to be averagely 70-80 views. After I blogged about the horse riding, the daily views maintained at 400-500 views daily! I'm just so amazed by it! Thanks again for reading my blog :) Family These days have been ver...

Horse Riding at Punggol

Image
On 4th October 2014, we headed to Punggol End to view the Punggol Pier! It's really an exciting journey there because we just want a place to see nature, sea and people fishing! We took Circle Line from Bishan to Serangoon, and changed to the North-East Line to Punggol Terminal. And we took bus 84. After 6 stops, we are there at the Punggol End! Picture of Kate and I awaiting for Eve and Josh.  We didn't go to the Punggol Pier. Instead, we decided to take a look at the Gallop Stable @ Punggol Ranch. We were at the waiting area for pony ride! Look at this stairs! It's the place where we mount onto the pony or horse. Yes! The horse stable! Beautiful right? The horse is licking something. Not sure what is it.   Guess what are they? They are chalets!! I was so shocked that people checked into these chalets. Cool right?   Look at this cute pony!   We decided to take a try on the horse ride! We paid $10 for a round tri...

My Children - Josh, Kate and Gwen

Image
Gwen She just turned 9 months and she can start to stand with support, such as tables, chairs etc. It's really amazing that she has grown from a baby to a toddler soon! Her solids food list has increased tremendously. 1. Steamed Pear with Cereal 2. Steamed Sweet Potatoes with Cereal 3. Steamed Carrot with Cereal 4. Our rice 5. Our bread 6. Avocados 7. Apples 8. Porridge She's an avid eater and she loves to watch us eat! Totally cute. I find she's an observer as she looks at you to confirm that she is carried by someone she knows. She also will just look at her siblings when they laugh, cry or even dance!  We brought her to swim for the first time and she loves it so much! We were so amazed that she kicks very well in the pool, and she can enable herself to be in the swimming position! Great job right?  Josh He will soon be 4 years 8 months and boy, he loves Chinese characters so much! He deciphers very well the word, the strokes and also how to see words within words, after...

Candlelight Service

Image
Last Sunday, our church had the candlelight service and it's a time we reflect and also to know the importance of Christmas ( the birth of Jesus Christ ). Honestly, I'm really very touched to see so many people in service and Eve also invited her cousin along. Really appreciate the effort she had made to go down to service early, and managed to get seats too. My children sat through the service and I'm really thankful for it. Kate held on to a new candle, awaiting for the candlelight to be lit. We were also fortunate to find seats in this fully filled service! Josh loves candles and he can't wait for his candle to be lit too. It's funny because we sat at the last row of the service and it took quite a while before the candle light was passed on to our row. Josh kept asking,"Where is my flame?" Finally! Their candles are lit! This is also the first time I allow both of them to take a light candle stick by their own. Our chur...
