2015 to 2016

2015 had been a fast paced year for me and my family. The weeks just zoomed past so quickly, and Monday to Sunday, Monday to Sunday and Monday to Sunday. And the children shuttling from one place to another. Josh has graduated from K2 and now entering into his new phase in Primary School. I could still remember the very first day as N1 student, we were filled with anxiety of how he could attend his school. And now, a primary 1 student. How time flies! In 2015, he improved his piano skills, swimming and also gym. He has great interest in counting money and very excited in playing games that involves maths and money. Kate has improved tremendously in recognizing Chinese characters, and her speech has improved. She is able to converse her thoughts and feelings to us. She is creative in telling stories, that seemed illogical to Josh. It's fine. She was so excited in her N2 performance that even both of us know the songs and actions too! She is also all diaperless completely already...

2014 - Thanksgiving

Wow! I'm just so thankful that 2014 has been an awesome year for both Eve and I. It's tough, hectic, happy, enjoyable, tired, excited.. All these feelings are felt day in and day out! One thing for sure, I want to thank God for all these to be possible.  Family Eve is able to help in the house budgeting. That up her skills in the area of finance in the house. She breaks them down into detailed weekly regular expenditures and we are able not to over spend every week! It's indeed an accomplishment! The daily tracking of the 'outs' is a joint effort and this is really important in every family, to minimize unnecessary expenditure. We have also increased our frequency of home meals, and cater more to our liking too! I should update more often in that blog of mine. I have collated quite a number of pictures! I must have better time management to blog more... Josh This year, we have enrolled him to a few new classes such as piano lessons and gymnastic lessons. He managed ...

Prudential Awards Night 2014

Image
Yes! In end March, we had our Prudential Awards Night and I'm very happy that I am able to receive an award from my company for the fourth time! It's really amazing and I can tell you the feeling is great! My boss, Lifen and I. She's amazing as she is very young and also one of the top few Directors in Prudential. I'm just so fortunate to be recruited under her and with her leadership, I have grown in my approach in my insurance business and just love it! Prior to getting the award, we have to queue up as there are a number of awardees in front of me. It's like those school awards and it's an experience! Even though it's my 4th time, I am slightly nervous about it too! Don't I look like a star? Lol...  It's just great feeling... Just two words to describe.. This is really a prestigious night whereby everyone dressed up to their best. A day before this, I went to my client's salon and he gave me this haircut! Reall...

December post

General Wow! Thanks readers for coming to my blog even though it has been awhile since I have blogged. Honestly there are so many thoughts running in my head, and how nice if I can just transfer it into my blog automatically. Family On a positive note, my children are growing well and I'm just so amazed of how God has entrusted both Eve and I to be parents for them. Food wise, we honestly PREFER home cooked food and last week, our grandmother actually came and stayed over at our place. She is really an asset to the house, helping us with ironing, cooking and folding the clothes, and all these is just done out of her great heart. Really felt so thankful for her to come and assist us.  Her style of cooking is different from mine and definitely better. Her fried egg is so much more delicious than mine even though we use the same amount of eggs, same pot and oil! How can it be?! Maybe it's her 89 years of experience adds to the flavor of the egg. She also c...

Colleagues

I'm just glad that for this month, I had quite a few outings with my agency and it's indeed fun to meet up and it has been quite long since we had our fun. Bowling We played inter-agency bowling and from this game, we know each other's strengths and had so much encouragement to one another. I just find that bowling games are always different as the company of people you play with, makes it either boring or exciting!  Our agency won the second runner up! So happy. Group picture of us and our color theme is green! Xcape My boss Li Fen planned an exciting place for us to go to! And I didn't know such place existed as I have been playing online version all my life. She showed us the trailer in office and all of just are so excited to go!  It's a real game, and you are being trapped in a room. You and your friends must find clues and ways to escape within one hour. They have a branch at 8 Purvis Street #04-01. Go to www.xcape.sg for more information. I'm really amaze...

Prudential Awards Night

Image
I would say that this year's Awards Night is a special one as we have many award winners from my Organisation! Really proud of my fellow colleagues! And also I am also one of the award winners in the Premier Bronze Category. It's certainly a milestone for me to achieve this third time in my career. It's like awarding those top 150 advisers in our company. I would like to thank my clients for entrusting me and also to choose me as your adviser. I had so much fun taking pictures with my colleagues and it's certainly motivating for me to be part of this winning group and company. This year, I am doing my best to be on stage again! Woohoo! To top it up, this year, my client Lien helped me to style my hair today! And it's certainly amazing to have him to volunteer to help me! Really appreciate his help and I'm truly honored! Picture of me on the stage. Really have no idea which camera to look at! The feeling of having to be on stage for 10 seconds is pric...

Goal for 2013

Image
This is amazing! I happen to talk to one of my colleagues and she has a goal to buy a private property which will TOP in 2016. The property will cost $1.5million and meaning to say that with the initial down payment, stamp duty and legal fees, an amount of $400k will be required. Hence she will aim to achieve this goal this year and she wants to aim Court of Table this 2013! This is very inspiring and I will feel that she sets no limits on herself and she is willing to work very very hard this year to achieve her goal. I feel that life should be like this. Have an aim that you want badly from your heart. And set all out to achieve it! This power of a dream is so strong that I can feel for her. This is amazing. Dinner and Dance I just ended my company's Dinner and Dance and it was a very joyous event whereby not only you get to see your friends in different costumes, the speeches from the award winners are unforgettable. Some are touching and parents are really edified in...

Sentosa: Universal Studios

Image
What a great day to spend at Universal Studios with my agency people on Thursday. All of us wore green and we had fun! We are amazed that there are so many people present there. And after taking the rides, boy do I feel that I'm really getting older. My risk tolerance has dropped tremendously despite me having to take the ride before: Example at the Mummy roller coaster ride. My heart nearly dropped out, seriously! The queues are very long, minimally 35 minutes and we spent the time talking and taking pictures. My friends went to take the waterboat ride at Jurassic Park and I am the sprayer! There is a corner whereby after their dip, I can get to shoot water at them! It cost $0.50 for 1 minute of spray. This ride seems harmless. But once it set off, ohh! My heart sank! So scary! Ha! The Evil me spraying water at my comrades! My colleagues with my boss, Li Fen! They are so on! Initially I brought Eve and Josh to the USS. However, Josh di...
