Felt Touched

TOUCHED BY GOD I felt touched by God yesterday at Sunday service. My Pastor prayed for me for the first time and I fell! Wow. I honestly felt different. The same feeling when I first received Christ nine years ago back at EXPO. It was surreal and I realized that even though things have changed, God didn't change. He made me realise that he has blessed me spiritually, financially and also for my family. I have been praying and he gave me the chapter in Ecclesiastes 11:2. I really hope that He will give us wisdom in it! TOUCHED BY HISTORY Yesterday, I went back to my house in Sengkang, and I discovered one of my old diaries that I have written when I was at Secondary Four. I was amazed that I managed to write a post every two days and I managed to document my feelings very well! I read about my graduation day account, whereby I wore my school uniform while others wore their casual or formal clothes for the event! I was feeling out of place literally because all of us then supp...

2014 - Thanksgiving

Wow! I'm just so thankful that 2014 has been an awesome year for both Eve and I. It's tough, hectic, happy, enjoyable, tired, excited.. All these feelings are felt day in and day out! One thing for sure, I want to thank God for all these to be possible.  Family Eve is able to help in the house budgeting. That up her skills in the area of finance in the house. She breaks them down into detailed weekly regular expenditures and we are able not to over spend every week! It's indeed an accomplishment! The daily tracking of the 'outs' is a joint effort and this is really important in every family, to minimize unnecessary expenditure. We have also increased our frequency of home meals, and cater more to our liking too! I should update more often in that blog of mine. I have collated quite a number of pictures! I must have better time management to blog more... Josh This year, we have enrolled him to a few new classes such as piano lessons and gymnastic lessons. He managed ...

Appreciation

This thought came to me when I'm in the toilet. And it just awoken me and realize all the more one should appreciate your loved ones, especially your wife (for my case is Eve). The amount of sacrifice she has made is certainly what man won't understand. 1. The amount of excruciating pain she had undergone when she gave birth not only once but THREE times! For Josh, Kate and Gwen. For me, I will never be able to experience the birth pain. However, imagine my flesh to expand to 10cm, I think I will actually lie flat and faint.  2. The fact that during giving birth, there are two nurses (strangers) looking and staring at your genital. And the doctor will come and repair it after birth. This really takes lots of courage! I had mine checked by medical doctors and I will feel awkward and weird even though it's just a 4-5 second check. Imagine it's seen by them for more than 30 minutes and even hours! I will be blushing! Woa man. So paiseh but for Eve, she can go past this sta...

Excited

Image
Yesterday at cellgroup, my cellgroup leader Charlie and Cath shared with us and prophesied about my family. That is--To be strong in what we believe in and that for me, success is just the beginning of good things to come. This is so amazing of how God plants someone and shares with us such amazing words and knowledge, so as to strengthen us both mentally and spiritually. I am also very amazed that Josh actually prayed when we are praying. He actually learned it in school and to pray before eating. He is so happy. Josh ------ He is having some cough after the cruise. Really hope that he will recover soon. Hence for these two days, we will not switch on aircon. He is also saying more words now. And wants me to teach him things that we see and he will try and pronounce. Eg we go to NTUC, he will pick up vegetables and look at me. I will name them and he will repeat. One after another!! I'm so amazed how much my this little sperm has grown!! Ha!! He also entertains Kate ...

Thank God

I want to thank God for letting me to embark on business opportunity once again. It is my three day roadshow at Suntec. (last week) I would call it sheer luck or hard work because I managed to have three walk ins for this road show!! Wow and they are ready buyers! Ha. And from this roadshow, it made me to have a volume to $20000. This is really thanking god! Also, want to thank my mum and my mother in law for helping us to take good care of Josh during the three days because I'm not around at home and that made them work longer at home. Find that in life, we must hedge onto opportunities and if they are knocking at your door, grab it! Because you never know whether next time, there will be another round of this opportunity laid down for you once again. I'm also very happy that this year, I am able to pen down my thoughts in a book as a Senior Financial consultant and to keep it as a memoir for myself! Yeah! Can't wait for it to be published and given to my clients!

Really amazing...

Hi everyone! Last Saturday, I get to know that my testimony was shared in church. Can you believe it?? What I typed days before about my financial blessing was shared on both days (Saturday and Sunday). When I personally heard it in church, I am really very amazed because I was prompted by God to give, he blessed me and now it is spread to so many people in church!!! Wow... It is so powerful. More Testimonies On Tuesday, I closed a $4000 case and today, I closed a $3350 case. Wow.. This really brings about power of attraction. What my boss taught me is true. You have to believe in your own achievement and somehow things will just come. And I am very very sure about it that I will achieve what I have set out to achieve. Happy!!!
Hi Everyone! Feel like sharing this to everyone. Learnt this lesson in Church today which I feel that its really of great due importance. All of us gotta have faith in God and also yourself. Sometimes, yes, we would feel times of low. We may also get to feel continuous periods of low times. This is normal because we are all in the cultural mandate that the devil is reigning. The devil is reigning the realm of advertising, television, media, blah blah blah. Thus, its normal for us to actually face periods of dip. It is trying ways to pull us down. This could be a reason why some of us become worried or suffer from depression. The devil is trying ways to get us down. So we should be strong and try our best with whatever faith we have. If we are able to step just one step of faith, God is willing to walk hundreds of steps for us. He knows that we are not perfect, not everyone is perfect. But with faith in yourself and God, He will work through us and be able to support us in the ...
