Bishan Park - An Escapade

Image
Recently, I have incorporated jogging in my morning routine. And it's good feeling to even just jog for 15 minutes. And bringing my family to Bishan Park adds up the morning fun. Around 8 am, Bishan Park has cool and refreshing air. Eve and Gwen will usually cycle to Bishan Park. Kate and I will take public transport and we will stroll and admire the greens while we walk to another bus stop to hop onto another bus service. The playground has no one and Kate will be so enthusiastic to comment that she is the first one to arrive! 4 of us. Kinda tough to get a wefie pic Sand playing is one of the relaxing activities that my children can play, apart from the usual swings, slides and climbing of obstacles. The best part is they can actually create their own imaginative world of sandcastles, without even me directing them. Eve will be near them drawing simple landscapes of the park. For me, I will be doing my jogging and some statics at Bishan Park. It's really enjoyable. I...

Chinese New Year's Reunion Dinner

Image
Celebrating Reunion Dinner at our very own place is good news because we get to prepare our own food and also, do a massive clean up for our home too! This is what our place looked like after we have cleaned them up!    Picture of our living room. Neat?   Our new enlarged living room and the door way. In fact, this was the first time that we bought Yu Sheng! I asked my colleagues about their usual Yu Sheng orders and we chose the one from Sushi Tei! It was so delicious. My sister, Eileen, was able to guide the excited children in the pouring of the condiments into the Yu Sheng. We didn't add the raw food into the vegetables because it would not be suitable for the young ones. We ate the sashimi separately. Aunt Eileen with Josh and Kate. They were amazed by the number of ingredients to be added inside.   Group picture with our special guest dog, Steady!   Huat ah!   The sauce wasn't too sweet and the vegetables were fresh ...

2015 to 2016

2015 had been a fast paced year for me and my family. The weeks just zoomed past so quickly, and Monday to Sunday, Monday to Sunday and Monday to Sunday. And the children shuttling from one place to another. Josh has graduated from K2 and now entering into his new phase in Primary School. I could still remember the very first day as N1 student, we were filled with anxiety of how he could attend his school. And now, a primary 1 student. How time flies! In 2015, he improved his piano skills, swimming and also gym. He has great interest in counting money and very excited in playing games that involves maths and money. Kate has improved tremendously in recognizing Chinese characters, and her speech has improved. She is able to converse her thoughts and feelings to us. She is creative in telling stories, that seemed illogical to Josh. It's fine. She was so excited in her N2 performance that even both of us know the songs and actions too! She is also all diaperless completely already...

Sentosa Trip 29th December 2015

Image
We decided to make our way to Sentosa in the early morning of 29th December 2015. It was drizzling. However, we just tried our luck to go to Sentosa. We brought additional two chairs with us so that we could sit on the sandy beach there. Kate wanted to sleep at Harbourfront MRT! Cheerful Gwen!  We waited for their cousin Rachel and grandmother at Harbourfront MRT. And we went to Seah Im to have an early lunch. Ordered fish noodle soup, chicken rice etc. Josh managed to order by himself soya bean milk with less sugar too. We went to Seah Im Hawker Centre to have our early lunch before heading to Sentosa. Saw the Sentosa Boardwalk poster at Vivocity  We tried to walk the Sentosa Boardwalk. It's actually very fun! It took us about 15 minutes from Vivocity to Sentosa by foot, and it's FREE OF CHARGE! (Till 31 December 2015) If all 8 of us have to take the Sentosa Express, it will cost each $4. Hence, $32. Awesome savings! The view from Sentosa Board...

Can you see that my eye had some purple eye shadow? Last night Gwen hit me direct onto my right eye. And it was swollen immediately. This morning, it was purple. :( Gwen didn't dare to step on the sand. We need to slowly expose her to step more onto the sand surfaces. Josh tota...

Christmas 2015

Image
This year, I feel Christmas is special as we managed to celebrate it as a family, going to church service, munching together and enjoying the sceneries together. It's simple yet heart warming. We went to the morning service and it was candle light service. The whole seating arena was fully filled with people. Thank God we managed to have seats for ourselves. Family picture of us. The children prefer to sit at the aisle. The church members starting to spread the candle light from the stage area and passed it on to every people in the church! Finally we got the candle lighted too! Jesus shines light upon our lives! Josh made sure that our candle lights was always lit. Eve and Kate Our three babies Couple pic. Nice?
