July

Wow! This month honestly is moving way too fast! There are quite a few happenings which I didn't manage to pen it down. Here it goes Josh This month, when school reopened after the first week, he had hand, foot mouth disease! It's his first time and we were just so shocked! We have no idea where did the source is from, but we have to let him stay in our in-law's place for almost 10 days. There is no medication required for this disease and we are glad that it was the mild type as his ulcers don't appear on his hands and feet. It only appears in his mouth and he had on and off fever. The period of separation was quite taxing on both Eve and I as we have to juggle the food meals to and fro in both houses. And to take care of Gwen and Kate full time! Not easy feat but we did it! We brought him to try out piano lesson for the first time and he loves it! It's at Toa Payoh SAFRA and it's an integration of alphabets, numbers and fingering. These three aspects interests

MacRitchie Walk

Nature walks in MacRitchie Reservoir have always been enjoyable for us! And we have managed to conquer the start of the running tracks into the forest! Yes! Without bringing a stroller! Good job, right? We travelled light, bringing a water bottle, extra children clothing, some fruits and jelly!   Eve with Gwen! Great Weather... Kate with a mini bun! That will give her some energy boost for her MacRitchie Walk These stumps are beautifully placed! Love it! Kate suddenly wanted to rest awhile at a nearby bench! We stood on the wooden stumps! Felt like those trophy stands.. We brought cut starfruits to quench our thirst, and home made jelly! Delicious! We picnicked on the open area near the zig zag bridge of MacRitchie Reservior Father and daughter selfie! Notice the legs between us, they belong to Eve! They sat at a shady place! Gwen's so happy to be on the mat with sister Kate! Happy picture! Look at the beautiful scenery! So

Time flies and I tell you that a year ago on 9th July 2013, it was raining heavily in the wee hours of the night! Soon after, Gwen was born. And a year same time 9th July 2014, it was raining heavily too! This time, she turns 1! Amazing! The weather made me recall what both Eve and I had went through last year. This time, we had two celebrations for both Gwen and Kate (as their birthdates are 9th July and 11th July respectively) and it was simply amazing to have relatives uniting and enjoy the meals together too! Both Eve and I even joked that we can aim for the 4th child to be on the 10th of July! Lol... That will be 2 years down the line. Anyway, on that day, we planned and conducted a series of games for bonding too! I'm just so glad that I can be the host for the day... It's been quite a while since I host! Love hosting!
