Christmas thanks giving celebration

Image
Yesterday, I had my church group Thanksgiving session at my place!! Eve and I prepared so much stuff and I'm so glad that we managed to hold over 15 people at our place. We prepared superb honey baked chicken wings and delicious cream of mushroom soup! And many of them loved it. It's a potluck event, hence other members also chipped in, bringing food like fried wonton, wraps with ham, steam buns, chicken pie, wine and drinks! We had so much fun talking and thanking God about 2012 events. Not only that, our house has a Christmas tree for the first time and we managed to place the 16 gifts on and under the tree! And the gift exchange was fun coz I managed to get a very practical gift: a portable iPhone charger! Woohoo! Picture of me giving my friend, Jennifer 3 Maggi sauce in a Gucci bag. How privileged! Happy group photo! My christmas tree nice? Dining at our living room Gift exchange Honestly, I feel that gift exchange is quite an exciting event

Christmas Candlelight service

Image
Sunday morning, we headed out to church and it was candlelight service! I'm touched to receive messages from Pastor saying that we have Jesus who is always working hard 24/7, and many a times we have no idea what he is preparing for us. This set me thinking that actually this year, I have managed to achieve what I have set out to achieve. And this has not been achievable if I didn't place my faith with God. I will try my best to make full use of the next 14 days! Seeing the pictures, I'm really very happy to have my very own supportive wife and children. They are my pillars and always in the future. Really so glad about it. In the church, we are really very blessed and many people were given candles and from one candlelight, it slowly spread to more and more, until the whole place turned from darkness to brightly lit! This year's Christmas, there is a feeling that it's very special indeed! Josh attempting to blow out the candle! Kate and I.. She love

Happy birthday Mum and Library outing

Image
Today is my mum's 63rd birthday! Amazing stuff yea? My sister celebrated with her today and she is really very happy! Library with children ------------------------------ Early afternoon, I brought my whole family to library and I'm so glad that they love to take books from there. Managed to read some books to them. Actually our national library are very well equipped with all range of children books. There is no need to purchase children books because they will get bored after awhile and they want something new. Borrowing from the library is a good thing to do as the books have three weeks to borrow. Now we are getting Josh to try and select the books he wants and we will bring back home. La Pizaiola : Date with Eve

Image
Recently, we chanced upon a great place for Italian food! It's called La Pizzaiola. It's located at 15/3 Jalan Riang. Tel: 62825031. It is situated in the middle of private estates, and we are quite shocked to find that suddenly, there is a row of food restaurants in this area! Amazing discovery. The ambience is very good and you get to see a glimpse of the chefs busily preparing their dishes too! While waiting, we were amazed that at 6pm, the whole area are nearly packed! And we were lucky to have seats for walk in. Many people actually reserved a day earlier. We even heard that the earliest timing for available seats was 8.30pm too! Very good business. We were waiting for the food. So we just took with the menu. Eve with the menu. We were seated just beside the kitchen. We looked around and we found out that many people ordered their pan pizza. We wanted to try two flavours and the waiter suggested us having a half-and-half! Hence, we ordered one cheese pi

Bishan Park adventure

Image
Can you imagine that a guy with two kids stranded at a Bishan Park connector? How can that happen?! We were happily strolling along the Bishan Park connector and viewing the train depot, the big Kallang river (or drain) and the scenery. Josh's riding skills on his balance bike has improved tremendously! Now, when crossing small road paths, he will automatically alight from his bike, and push it across. I'm just so glad that he knows what he is doing. Can't wait when all of us can cycle together in two wheels and venture to different parts of Singapore at night! Josh and his Bike and the Angry Bird Bag. He is so confident in the bike. After taking this pic, he passed me his bag. -_-! Happy children! We then decided to rest awhile at the benches. Kate resting on the bench. She really loves to lie down anywhere! Here comes the horror story! Later, I noticed that it started to drizzle! Oh no! I didn't have an umbrella. We are quite a distance from
