Well, today it's a JAMX day!
I actually got to meet up the bands that are going to participate at the JAMX competition held at National Youth Park on 15 and 16th Jan for Prelims! Yeah!! And u know what? Most of them have the rocker's look! Funky hairdo and their dress sense is really of unique punk-like!
I also helped out with Grant A Wish and there are certainly alot of wishes in the clubroom! And it's really up to us (the wish coordinators) to clear the stuff. As in calling up the beneficaries to find out when is the appropriate time that they want us to deliver the stuff to them! Ha!!
Around evening time, Ray and I actually went down to Hisham's workplace to look for him because nowadays, he had not been himself. He even rejected Ray's BBQ party on New Year's Eve suddenly. Then, I bought nasi Lemak at Yusok Ishak House and then, attended the JAMX meeting. It was supposed to start at 1pm but in the end, it started at 1.45pm. That's very late right!? But anyway, I got to inform them about what Lijie and informed me to do. Felt very happy as I have something to do for JAMX! By the way, this rock-band competition finals will be at Civics Plaza on 29th Jan and Taufik will be the guest singer for that day!! Can't believe that I will be up close and personal!! Yeah!! I'm finally back from India (Kolkata already). My trip there was an eventful one with lots of experiences to share. But didn't plan to write the 21-day experience in my blog because it will be cluttered with words. When I have more pictures, I'll upload and then describe my experience through them. Think this way will be a better one.
Juz to let you know something. It was only yesterday that I found out about the Tsunami quake at Asia. They even stated that there were delaying and cancelation of flights during 9.20am yesterday. I was still in Thailand (Bangkok) during that time. Indeed, there was cancelation of a flight and my friend and I commented that it may be a lousy flight or something. But we are wrong! It's due for the safety of the travellers that they decided to cancel the flight. Quite a number of flights were delayed too!
Gosh! I didn't expect this type of plight will be evident post of Christmas! But seriously hope tha
Hey....today is my departure date to India!!
Well, yesterday, completed my Befriender course and it's really very good. Can feel the sense of team work, especially at the end whereby we get to complete crossing the 'stones' across the rivers without making a single mistake. Took us over an 1hr to complete this low budget game! Ha!
I went to Ah-ma's house straight away and was happy to see Ah-ma. All of them have already eaten their dinner and chatted with her for about 10minutes. So nice!! Ha!! I really wanna visit her once I come back!! :) My Bee-Yi is also very good. She gave me a luggage which is given for free because she subsribed the credit card. Took taxi home. Feeling real tired already.

I spent my time doing the singapore map, together with Benny, Shumei, Renhong and Crystal. Luckily, with the help of Xiaoying's mother, we managed to get the whole map sewed onto the big cloth within less than 30minutes. Really grateful about that as her mother is a skilful seamstress. She is also very friendly! Very happy about that.
I was so occupied with my stuff that I actually forgotten the meeting with Vtien at Central Library during lunch time. OMG. And when doing the map, I left my handphone in the clubroom, in silent mode. It's after lunch time that I went to check the phone, and realised that I was supposed to meet her!! I am so FORGETFUL!

On Saturday, I learnt rollerblading for the first time in my whole life! Taught my Yonghan! Amazing!! The feeling of freedom was fantastic and I really feel like learning it after exams!

Well, I was occupied with seminars and seminars... who??? It's Robert Kiyosaki's Seminar. I attended his 2-and-a-half day seminar which was held at Expo!
I certainly didn't waste my time. In fact, I feel that it's a life-time experience whereby money can't even replace it. I have learnt ways which can help to improve my cashflow... also had knowledge about real estate and stocks.... Most importantly, I knew the best formula for the way to get RICH!!! YEah!
After the seminar, a thought came to my mind. I just want a bachelor degree and that's it. I don't really care whether it's Honors or Masters. It's not so substantial in the outside world right now. I know that these paper are good for the corporate world. But to me, it's not. I do not want to work in the corporate world, but to set up my future business!!

Oh! I spent most of my time completing my chemistry practical. It's really very time consuming and when you are doing it, time passed very fast! ARGH. Luckily this is the final one (for this semester that is).
I also revised on my Nano test for wednesday. Talking about my Nano project, I'm really quite unhappy. It seems to me that Alvin didn't do alot and Weiming keeps siding him. I actually pushed the easy job to Alvin, which in the end is burnt by Weiming. OH man! I didn't want to speak much to Alvin already. Feel that he is quite 'big' also... Maybe I'm wrong... but I just consider this way as my own perspective.
Probably next semester, I may have project work, but work with other people. ;)

I went to ICA building to renew my photo. There are alot of people queueing up for phototaking and I have no choice but to try my luck at the third floor. Indeed, there are only 2 people queueing for it. So I immediately took and went to queue. There are about 50 people in front of me man! So I waited patiently.

SELLING SKiE CALENDARS
Today, I didn't have lessons at all but I am occupied with my special projects. I did calendar selling with Weishan, Shun Deng and Huiling. Spent about 2hrs and we managed to sell a total of 41! I'm real very happy about that... Got $259 and $44 is purely donation. And at 12pm, I was real tired and we still have about 6 calendars. I cannot stand it already and began to knock every room, and gave a short presentation, hoping they will buy. Ha... Quite fun. I have made some conclusions out of the selling of calendars.
1. Those MIC (Made in China) are really a bunch of snobs. They feel that they are very busy people and they stink! They offices are very messy and very smelly. Didnt switch on the aircon!! And most of them rejected the offer of buying... Somemore, we have given them the job in Singapore and they simply don't wanna help... So ungrateful.... (WoA!)

Really loved Maroon 5!! They are so talented!! A brief history about them.
They heard on the radio of a rock song and the lead singer is very curious about how they write and produce it. To his amazement, he cannot believe that songs are so easy to be written plus some simple rock music. So there he is now, forming Maroon 5, mixing rock and jazz together. Amazing stuff man!

Coz i've attended my lectures, regarding inorganic chemistry, life science module. I know that these modules are critical for the CAP score in my uni life, but am I going to use it??! THe application part is totally zero.
Seriously, I find that Singapore's education system should be revamped! REVAMPED for good. I know that they want us to be knowledgeable, but think about this, acquiring too much knowledge will turn out to be useless if not used. Why not we learn the knowledge and practise them? This will make knowledge useful. However, the problem is that there IS NO ROOM FOR PRACTISING for the knowledge at all! That totally suck.

Today, I took a nap and was real tired eversince this morning's 8am english lesson. Took my test and got 10/20. Ha... Really thankful for my tutor and the whole class actually waited for me to finish the test because my tutor, Nina, cannot discuss the test while I'm taking it mah!

A group of friends and I are planning for Amazing race which is installed mainly for sec 1NT and 2NT as part of their excursion. All the places will be at Clementi and Buona Vista and went to recce today. There are alot of places which I am not sure about this part of the Singapore. Today, I went to NTU. Somewhat feel that it's another airport in existence!! The place is very big and full of Halls. I went there because I need to promote JamX and get the rock band wannabes to sign up for the competition. We planned to find those who have the rock band look, but at the canteen, very few has the look! Ha... but managed to give a handful la.
We are quite lucky in the sense that we are able to get the cultural head of a Hall, who in turns has other contacts of the other cultural heads of the other Halls! Which means, the idea of JamX will be passed and spread! Hope it works!!

Have attended Zehe's birthday yesterday and it was a day filled with bbq chicken wings. Met my C5 people also and was quite happy. Yesterday, didn't have time to go and type the blog. Anyway, I've attended another SkIe meeting again. It was fun, as we get to know that we should have to set goals before going to India this year end. The teaching assistant, Lynn, talked to us that when we act, we must know why we act, and how it affects us.
