We cooked our lunch and decided to head down to East Coast Park for a picnic, since the weather was very fine this afternoon.  Picture of the girls at the picnic site Family picture  It was quite sunny and we managed to find a shady area, which some other 3 clusters of picnic groups at the tree. We were amazed that ALL the BBQ sites were all taken and people were bbq-ing there. I didn't expect that lunch BBQ would be that popular. We brought macaroni, air fried meat balls, corn soup, stir fried vegetables for our picnic. We also managed to bring down 2 of the children chair down for picnic. It was a cozy feeling. Feeding Kate. Can you see that my eye had some purple eye shadow? Last night Gwen hit me direct onto my right eye. And it was swollen immediately. This morning, it was purple. :( Gwen didn't dare to step on the sand. We need to slowly expose her to step more onto the sand surfaces. Josh total

Christmas 2015

Image
This year, I feel Christmas is special as we managed to celebrate it as a family, going to church service, munching together and enjoying the sceneries together. It's simple yet heart warming. We went to the morning service and it was candle light service. The whole seating arena was fully filled with people. Thank God we managed to have seats for ourselves. Family picture of us. The children prefer to sit at the aisle. The church members starting to spread the candle light from the stage area and passed it on to every people in the church! Finally we got the candle lighted too! Jesus shines light upon our lives! Josh made sure that our candle lights was always lit. Eve and Kate Our three babies Couple pic. Nice? There were three instances whereby they held the candle slanted and nearly bur

Esplanade Visit

Image
Today is Christmas Eve and I have decided to bring my children out to Esplanade. Kate needs her afternoon nap, hence Eve stayed at home with her, while I brought the other two to Esplanade. The bus ride was so comfortable that he slept! Josh slept on the bus seat!  We reached Esplanade and it's snack time. We went to Toast Box to get some bread and milo to fill our empty stomach. Josh and Gwen ate them hungrily. Look at the milo trail at Gwen's chin! Seldom we actually go out to eat snack at Toast Box. Felt like a tourist after taking this selfie.  We headed to the outdoor theatre at Esplanade and they were having sound check. Their performance was great! Gwen enjoyed so much! Gwen's lovely smile!  We sat by the river and the view was relaxing. Not much crowd and we just took out paper and drew the surrounding. I managed to get Josh to 'touch' MBS! Lovely? Josh and MBS!  Group picture Gwen had her stint at grabbing the MB

My 32nd Birthday

Image
I'm officially 32 now! Had a great simple birthday celebration back at our newly renovated place! Honestly, I feel so blessed to have a steamboat birthday celebration and it's healthier, cheaper and we can eat wearing comfortable house clothes! Eve went to buy the ingredients early in the morning Our group photo with our parents and children. My dad also brought his rice balls! Every year, during my birthday, it's also eating rice balls! Love it so much! A group wefie! Currently, we are dining in this new room - the study room.  Erm... A Christmas and Birthday cake for me? Thanks to my friend Jian Bang for getting this cake for me! Love this funny picture Happy birthday to me! They smiled because I told them: "The one with the greatest smile has the largest piece". Family is indeed very important and I will definitely be much more efficient in my work-life balance in the coming 2016!

Time allocation for family

I am so amazed that despite me not blogging for awhile, my daily visitors are hovering around 75 to 100! Thank you for your support! I would want to blog that time allocation for family members is very important, especially spending time with my wife ALONE! Ha. It's really crucial to have some "our" time so that we know that our lives are not 100% children. Every stage of our lives, we have to fine tune our schedules. Monday Our own time! The three children are all at my in law's house. We may munch together for dinner or supper. Tuesday Josh and Kate time with us! Wednesday, Thursday and Friday The three children will come back and sleep in our place. We may slot in library visit, after their gym or swimming lessons. Saturday It depends. Sometimes if I have appointment, Eve and grandmother will bring the children out for some activities. Otherwise, I will bring them out to have fun! Sunday Church time and we will go and play. Blogging

It's certainly been awhile since I have blogged and yes, a lot of things have happened (for the better). We have done so much things and for family wise, my children are growing so fast. We have new pet fishes in the tank. I feel that I should slowly get going with my blog, because I have to document some important thoughts that I have. I won't be posting on Facebook on my link already. I feel that it's better this way, so as to feel much at ease with myself. My recent family trip to Bali made me realize so many things. I brought back the thought that Nature doesn't need humans. Humans need nature. So true right? Yet I can still see so much destruction to the nature. The recent haze - attributed for the use of palm oil for cosmetics, plastics etc. Recently, I brought my children to the nearby play ground and I'm just so shocked by the amount of trash in the vicinity. I formed a game with my children to pick up the rubbish into the recycling bins. And we picked up

First Trip to Legoland

Image
It's certainly a great experience to go to LEGOLAND for the first time in our lives! This time is also a special outing as we brought Josh's friends too! Love it!   We book via Konsortium and we took a shuttle bus from Singapore Flyer to LEGOLAND and back. The price is very worth it and we really enjoyed our time spent there just at the LEGOLAND.   Ain't it look real? The number of legos used is in thousands! Josh and his train tracks. He's so amazed to be so close to the tracks! This kiddy car ride is so safe and we are so amazed that both Kate and Josh can ride so well! The staff following her A signboard at the kiddy car ride I really love how they can make full use of the lego bricks and make it life size dolls! Josh went to the older children car ride, with traffic lights and lanes. He loves it too! Kate trying her second round. We can keep going on and on, just have to queue. A car to pose! The weather was
