Hi Everyone I am dumbfounded.... Seriously... I used to take around 45 minutes of public transport from Sengkang to Bishan.... Now.... I only take 20 minutes of public transport from Sengkang to Bishan.... This is called amazing! This is really dumbfounding... I took NorthEast Line from Sengkang to Serangoon and then Circle Line from Serangoon to Bishan.... I really can't imagine that Serangoon and Bishan are just 2 train stations away... and when I physically reach the station, I thought it was printing error of the station.... I have reached my bishan house in 4 minutes! I suddenly felt an instant gratitude to the creators and engineers for Circle Line as it has certainly made Singapore 'smaller'. Really appreciate and soon, more stations are opened up, linking parts of Singapore and making them more accessible.... My my.... With this, my property has increased to additional 20-30% value! Every night, my wife will wake me up due to the below reasons: 1. hungry 2. hot 3. cold 4. back pain 5. leg pain 6. vomit Alot of reasons and counting... haa... but it's worth it... Want to tell you guys that I'm a human and have to adjust to these changes! Somemore for her, she has to go through all these with more pain!
Hi Everyone! Yesterday something happened to me for the first time... I went to my client's place at Choa Chu Kang Condo... and while taking the lift, the lift door closed.... and guess what?? BLACKOUT! Can you believe it?? My client and I were stuck in the lift for over 40 minutes before the lift operator came and rescue us. And I tell you.. its so warm inside and the ventilation is very bad.... I can imagine how serious the situation will be if a pregnant lady were to be inside the lift! And for the lift contractor, they reach so late... In fact, in HDB, they have a ruling that for lift rescue, the lift maintenance company are to reach within 30 minutes. Otherwise, the maintenance company have to pay a fine to HDB. I believe that HDB pay them to keep watch at all times. However,this time is different.... it is the private management for the Condo. Hi Everyone Weather ---------- The weather is so warm these days. I really miss the weather back in Macau, Genting, Blaa... it is certainly a god-send to be staying in these countries... but that statement is really very surface... because state of living not only evolves weather... other reasons are also prevalent... BUT SINGAPORE weather is terrible... And for my job, everyday I have to put on shirt and black pants... and I would be dripping perspiration by the time I reach my client's place and prospect's place. Ha... Quite embarrassing at times... Really hope that this 'summer' period will end soon... House -------- My house is more or less done up and I really thank god that my father in law really have connections to help us to do up 2 new cupboards in the house and to help with the piping of the water pipes in our house. Hi Everyone Nowadays, nearly every night I would listen to Yas at Class95fm and she is really a great Dj, playing lots of love songs and making me feel that relationship is actually very important in one's life. Actually, I have been thinking... Many of us have been working and thinking about work nearly 90% of our lives... making us related to work, having a work relationship. But this is quite sad because at the end of the day, we are not married to our work actually, but what is important is relationship. Not money. I would come to think that there should be a balance in one's life, for example, to spend time with family members, friends and work collegues. Honestly, this should be the way. I have just attended a will workshop and taught us the concept of writing a will. This made me to think about my responsibilities as a son, husband, father and friend. Hi Everyone! Certainly, Mervyn is very excited about his new born baby boy as now, he can see some obvious bumps when boy kicks or punches Eve's stomach! Really amazing feat!! Ha... On the 19th, will be seeing him again... Really find that there are quite alot of preparation to do!! Especially the monetary part... but fret not, Mervyn will handle it. Ha... Well well, find that time certainly passes by so fast and these nights, it has been lots of downpours with lightning and thunder (similar to that of thunderstorms) and I tell you, it is so comfortable to sleep!! Ha.. And the patch of field just in front of my house is flooded and it looks like ponds were created. Have to work hard! Yeah!! Jiayou everyone!
On Labour Day, I went to Pulau Semakau!! It is a trip organised by my friend Siyang and I tell you, it is certainly a great learning experience for me... Pulau Semakau is actually a landfill and this picture shows the ash that was transported from Singapore mainland to this island... this is the place where the tractors come and collect and deposit on Semakau... Saw so many sea creatures and find that Singapore has alot of wildlife! Didn't expect it actually... Sea Anemonie... Sea sponge.... They are really amazing, able to filtrate the sea water. But they are poisonous. Once you touch it, your fingers are surely swollen... Heart shape! Amazing?? This is not done by anyone... I happen to spot it.... Sea horse! Star fish... Ain't it amazing.... So big... and JUICY! and the legs are just like our zipper in our pants... haa... so closely interlocked...
