Well Well Make this post a quick one... Today, I went to volunteer myself with my client at Club Rainbow and the event was held at Bottle Tree Park... My first time there... And I tell you, volunteering had always been a great achievement for myself! Its actually been awhile eversince I have volunteered myself, think the latest was in November 2008, where I visited an old folks' home at Tampines... Well, today is really an eye opener and for Club Rainbow, they held this once-a-year event for the families to get together. They actually provide financial help to those families whose children are of certain disabilities and I tell you, after seeing them, I find that the parents are really very brave and strong.... to be able to have smiley faces even though their children are of some disabilities... We must certainly thank god for letting us have a healthy body and that we are able to walk without any assistance.... Really... If you will, do thank your parents too.... AH! And do you

Well well...last saturday we had our once a year Dinner and Dance whereby our very own PTO advisers will dress up for the event. This year's theme is casino....in conjunction with the building of IR... Ha! Place where I lost all my bets... (free chips are given) Quite fun...but gambling really makes your heart beat very fast.... Phoebe and me... Stephanie and me Wife and me My mentee, Evonne and me.. Meeling and Me Eve, Lifen and me.... The 3 of us are one of the few co-authors of the book. And we were on stage as we launch the book to our Prudential CEO! Ace and me.. The one that i'm holding is a glass dice... its really very special in the sense that it will actually glow in the dark! Ha... imagine gambling in the dark... Ha... My friend Daoxing, whose brother is Daowen, my SRJC friend... And we are both in the same agency... What a small world right?? Ha... Enjoyed my DND and next year, it will not be in Singapore... woohoo... its in CHINA!

This is my 881st post of my life blogging in mervynhoe.blogspot.com Well, find that staying with my wife in Bishan in our new flat is certainly a dream come true for us. And this is really a blissful home and that we can do whatever things we want! Nowadays, we would cook meals together and they are all healthy meals... And I love them. Just that eating brown rice will make me go hungry easily. Ha... This week, it has been quite a fruitful week for me! Yea!! I have yet to post some of the events that took place in my life last week! Hi Everyone! The long awaited pictures (not so well taken) are out! Haa... Shifting house is fun and really involves team effort!! Ha... And these are some shots of our house... This is our living room! It has a spinning fan... and we have an Ikea sofa and the kitchen table is tentatively placed in the living room... to enjoy the scenery while dining... Our Baby room... This is actually pre-painted by the previous owner and they have the ang-mo look.. if you know what I mean.. Ha... Our walk in wardrobe... Thank god that the previous owner left us with this! Ha...it is something new and we do not have any clothes cupboard... its an open concept and we hang our clothes in open space... the curtain is to prevent dust from entering... Yo! Let me tell you! I have been washing and cleaning the house for the past 4 days! And it is really no joke... Moving to a new place is exciting... However, there are really so many things to do! Luckily there are really people helping out... And the amount of things to buy.... from big items (sofa) to small items (garlic)... My my! So many things in the 'TO-DO' list and it is ever increasing with time... even though we cancel some after they are done! Ha... Love the cancellation part... Want to thank my father-in-law... really... he has placed a major part in the house movement project and tmr, it is the grand day.... Installation of curtains.. Installation of kitchen doors.. Hi Everyone! Yes, I haven't been updating this blog for quite awhile!! Met up with Hisham during a lunch and he's disappointed that I never buy Britney's Circus Album. Ha... Anyway, I am still in the thinking stage... because my laptop CD Driver is spoilt and its like no point because I am unable to play it with my lappie... And i'm touched that I received a few sms from my friends when they saw Britney on TV... 1. From Chloe: Whenever I hear the music, your name pops up! Ha.. 2. From Chris: 2 weeks back, they showed a Britney special on Channel 5, which I was unaware! And Chris smsed me straightaway to catch it... Ha... Find it quite amusing! Don't you think?? Circus track is quite catchy... initially didn't quite like it (Opps) because I find it too fast??? but the below video with lyrics is easy to sing with...v catchy... Enjoy!
