Expo

Sunday is another busy day for me... Went to EXPO with Christopher and Yingkai and I was late...after the lecture! Ha! I found out today that Singaporeans have Z.E.R.O courtesy. I was about to alight at Tanah Merah Interchange and at the door, you can see the incoming passengers crowding at the door. When it opens, I can't even go out, having the children and the adults pushing themselves into the cabin. I can't believe that I scolded the word "F*CK" leh! I was so irritated by their actions that I said that! :@X Then, at the EXPO, people kept pushing to get their way through! Eww...it's human traffic flow! And the 3 of us didn't really enjoyed ourselves there! The only thing nice was the pepper black sausage! YUMMY! I think next time, when you go bbq, it's better to bring along pepper along... as it can really bring out better taste in every bite you take! The feeling was amazing... :@) Then, we went to City Hall's Suntec Convention Hall
Today, I didn't go to work! Coz I'm real shagged out for the past two days! Rushing from one place to another to meet friends appointments!! On Sat, I rushed to go to my french lesson and after that, I went home and took a nap! Coz I was real shag! Yiwen was sick on that day, so she didn't go and work. Then, I met JianBang and Shaun at CityHall MRT for dinner at CHIJMES. He was late and we chatted. Didn't really enjoy the chat anyway. But the meal was fantasic. With the medium-done beef steak! @:) After that, I met Hisham. Actually we planned to catch a movie, but I went to LIDO and the queue was so long. And the movies at other places like PS and Marina are all sold out! Can u believe it? Actually, to tell you the truth, for many saturdays, I had not been going to city area during weekends already! Ha! We ate at ThaiExpress where it's pineapple rice is delicious. Oh and don't ever try it's dessert--red ruby! It tasted eww!! Wasted $2 on it! A
Yesterday is a busy day for me! Straight after work, I dashed my way to NDP rehearsal at Kranji Camp. We did calistanic training whereby I was chosen as the top man. Woah... the feeling was intense for me. At first, we had the 2-1 training, that is, I will stand on the palms of 2 of my fellow basemen. That was okay, after we vetted out the problem, we managed to complete it successfully. After that, we had our 1-1 training, that is I will stand on my partner's shoulders and stand up straight, totalling a height of around 3.3m! That's quite scary because of the height. I must be more confident as my legs were shaking when I tried to stand up straight on top of him! Ha. Good thing is that my partner is very steady and I should be confident of him. Everything involves teamwork and we need to have a peace of mind when we carry out this calistanic activity! I must train up and yeah... be sure that on the actual day of the performance, we will put up a dramatic shoW! WOO
From yesterday, I have told myself that I need to lead a healthy lifestyle, that is, to eat more vegetables and to exercise after work. I was accompanied by Siyang last night and today, zehe and I went jogging. The feeling was so good, breathing the fresh air and sweat it out! Felt much more relaxed after that. Actually, if my friends are reading this, they should include exercise plans in their schedule, be it they are busy or what! I have actually planned to jog every morning before work. However, I didn't done that at all. Ha! Coz I am a bed-hogger! Anyway, that method didnt work for me. So yesterday, when I was on the bus ride, the thought of jogging straight after work came in my head. I smsed Siyang and Zehe. And Siyang agreed to meet me! :@) And I rode my way to Punggol Park and jogged with him. After the run, I went home, felt much better and much more refreshed. My current job made me stayed indoors for very long. That made me feel unhealthy. So I told myself th
It's Sunday It's been very long eversince I have written my daily journal already. Everyday has been busy for me. Guess that the temp job has somewhat taken up alot of my time. On 21st May, I went back to camp to get my IC back. The feeling was enthusiastic! When I went to the Orderly Room to collect the IC, the moment I saw my IC, it felt to me like that it was a present! Ha! I've actually completed my army phase in my life. Can't believe it that I managed to go past this phase! :@) I went around shaking my hands with everyone I knew. And not to forget to bid them farewell and gd luck! Walked past my bunk and it really brought me sentiments! It's a place that i'll never forget. WOOHOO, I am MR. MERVYN HOE!
Yesterday, was quite a packed day for me! Had my french lesson at Alliance Francise. It was such a fun lesson and learnt how to greet people and recognise their occupations! And countries too! :@) I also had my membership card too... After that, I went to ML Consultant to get the cheque for my Survey job which I did for 2 days. And I met Alvin, one of my men in Camp. And we took the same lift! So coincidental! Then, we went to my Ah-ma's House. It's been around 2-3months eversince I went to visit her again. She has cut her hair and she was real happy to see me! :@) I bought her favourite fried oyster egg, which I thought that she hasn't eaten for quite long already. And the lunch which my 4th Aunt cook was delicious. My stomach nearly burst eh! She also had lontong, which I didnt eat. My Ah-ma is the only grandparent left in my family. And sometimes, I would ask her simple questions, eg Have you eaten? How's lunch? Coz my hokkien totally in F9 grade! Ha! :@)
Today, it's a tiring day for me! Suppose to wake up at 7.45am, but woke up at 8.30am! Had a funny, yet, I felt as though it was logical. It was strange when I can't remember anything after I got up! Ha! I did alot of scanning today. And my fellow temp collegue, kept on pasting and it's like he didnt give a chance to rotate! Argh. Luckily, I was wearing spectacles. Otherwise, my eyes would be even more tired! And also, he kept on checking on what I am doing. As if I do not know anything at all! What kind of person he think I am! Anyway, lucky thing is that he'd be going for reservice for 2 weeks and I wont be seeing him for that period! WOOHOO! :@) After 5.30pm, I immediately dashed down to Yew Tee MRT. Actually, I felt quite embarrassed to put on the red 'I LOVE SINGAPORE" shirt and shorts, walking at Expo! Ha. I covered the front of the shirt with my bag. On the MRT, I slept throughout and it was wonderful! Didnt even know what I have actually past Cit
2 days had past eversince I have updated the Journal! Coz I'm overly tired and also I have sore eye! Last Monday, I had sore eye on my right and at night, it has spread to both. On Tuesday, I had my left eye sore! The feeling's terrible! Probably because I didn't drink enough water! Today, it's a fine day for me. I ate breakfast, bought from my father. And also, I was punctual for my work too! And when I touched down at Expo, it started to drizzle! I really bring rain, man! Haa! And carried on with my job. Everything's normal. While scanning, I kept on thinking about my weekend, and I find that it's quite pack! Let me tell you why! Saturday 9 - 12pm: French Lesson 1 - 5.30pm: My Ah-ma's House 6.30 - 10.30pm: NDP rehearsal Sunday 8.30am - Gym 2.30pm onwards: Kite Flying and steamboat at Marina Hope that I can squeeze in the Gym! Haa... Also, apart from working, the travelling time spent for me is also quite long. Felt that I'm re
Phew.. today is Mother's Day! What have you done for your Mom!? Last night, I went online and searched for recipes for today's dinner and formed a list of stuff so that I can buy the next morning. Yiwen and I went to NTUC to shop for the food, eg salmon, celery, liver... And everything amounting to $32! But it's worth it! :@) Even bought 3 packets of durian for $5. Very worth it! Very delicious. Luckily didn't choose those $10 one. And as usual, I took an afternoon nap, and got up around 4.30pm! Oh gosh, then, I started to prepare the dinner. Actually, from today's cooking, I find that it's very fun to prepare meals for your family members. After you have cooked and tasted it, the sense of fulfilment is there! Haa... My sis helped out. She is in charge of dicing the food while I marinate and prepare the sauce! :@) For dinner, all my family members enjoyed it! Maybe every Sunday, I would like to prepare and train my culinary skills! For today,
Today, it's a fun day, well sort of. Got up and rushed straight to French Embassy for my first french lesson (beginner course). My teacher is Franck. He's a humorous teacher and overall, I find that french is an exquiste language, very special and interesting. I've learnt basic greetings for today. And time really passed very fast after learning. The classmates are of different background and age, and we are all having the same base of french (aka, having no knowledge at all) haa.. Yiwen and I actually wanna go to Orchard. However, we took the wrong side. We took 171 to Bukit Timah area instead! Then we U-turned. I went to Pointers to cut my hair. And it happened that the manager cut my hair. So lucky eh? Not many people would have the chance to actually cut by him, have to make appointment and pay $20. But because he is shorthanded, he came and help out... :@) Then, I rushed to meet Shaun to go to Camp to clear all our stuff. Lucky got him to help me drive fr
Yes, it's Friday. And I'm still feeling sleepy! Today's job was very tiring. Scanning non stop! And also packaged over 300 boxes! Until my head was goggy! But still can tolerate. After drinking some water, I felt much better. Working in this warehouse is like this, quite extreme. If you have nothing to do, aka Low Key, there is really not much things to do. However, entering the peak period, you hardly breathe! The requests are very large and you have to finish the target by that very day! During lunch time, I went back to the Malay stall and told her, "Auntie, today I would like to pay you $4.50 instead of $3.50 (price of today's lunch)". She's quite stunned and after explaining, she thanked me! Felt like a saint for a sec! Haa... :@) Worked until 9.30pm and went home. Whenever I am on the way home, I would actually spent the travelling time smsing my friends, wondering what they are up to during that time! And I can actually spent the entir
Phew... today... it's a rainy day in the morning! I woke up at around 8.30am, after my understudy called me. Lucky thing he called, otherwise, I'd be late. Of coz I didnt told him that, and I quickly rushed for work. My mum made for me milo and a glass of water. Today's journey was very fast. Within 30minutes, I have reached Tanah Merah MRT interchange and it was raining heavily. Thinking that taking taxi from EXPO is more expensive (got surcharge), so I took taxi from Tanah Merah instead. It cost me $3.00. I chatted with the taxi driver, and asked him whether he earns more money on rainy days or sunny weather. It is the former. However, he adds one more point. On rainy days, it's much more dangerous to be on the road, and I agreed with him. I was very early today, suppose to reach there by 10am, I reached at 9.45am! Haa... Today, there's a lot of requests from International countries, especially Japan. And did the same old thing again. During lun
Woo.. today is fifth of May, which is my god-sister's, Tingli's 21st birthday! I msged her early in the morning and it's like she didnt respond to my msg at all! At around 8pm, I called her to wish her HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Today, as usual, I thought of waking up early and have a run. But laziness always win the battle! I woke up around 8.45am. Then, my mother told me that Dad is not going to work today and he even bought fried carrot cake for me for dinner! Haa... Not bad leh... then I dashed to work. Today, the journey to my workplace was quite long!! I missed an LRT, which made me wait for 5minutes. And when I reached the station to take 27, the holy bus just went past me! Missing that made me wait for additional 20minutes! Luckily, I was around 6minutes late for my work! Haa... I was working until lunch when I realised that it was raining outside. It's real common nowadays not knowing how's the weather like outside, since you spent most of your time indoors,

Work

Today, I'm quite happY! I reached roughly on the dot, 10am to my workplace at Tokyu World Transport. The first thing which I did was to do the paper work. And very soon after that, I went for my lunch, together with Shaun. Then I rested at the office. Shaun has also lent me his French dictionary, which can be useful for my first french class this Saturday! WooHOO! It's held at French Embassy... The lunchtime always ends so fast! Then, towards 5pm, there came alot of requests from International countries. And we have to pack over 400 goods! And I scanned over 1600 times...until my head was quite goggy! But it's ok... My collegue, Ah-Boon, bought for me prawn noodles for dinner... Yummy man... and one thing good about working here is that the food is very economical... And the tea tastes good too! I worked until 9pm, after I checked with my collegue that there are no more requests already. So I went back home. On the way home, I was feeling very awake. It's alw
