Can someone just stop time?!? It's 29th!
SELLING SKiE CALENDARS
Today, I didn't have lessons at all but I am occupied with my special projects. I did calendar selling with Weishan, Shun Deng and Huiling. Spent about 2hrs and we managed to sell a total of 41! I'm real very happy about that... Got $259 and $44 is purely donation. And at 12pm, I was real tired and we still have about 6 calendars. I cannot stand it already and began to knock every room, and gave a short presentation, hoping they will buy. Ha... Quite fun. I have made some conclusions out of the selling of calendars.
1. Those MIC (Made in China) are really a bunch of snobs. They feel that they are very busy people and they stink! They offices are very messy and very smelly. Didnt switch on the aircon!! And most of them rejected the offer of buying... Somemore, we have given them the job in Singapore and they simply don't wanna help... So ungrateful.... (WoA!)

Really loved Maroon 5!! They are so talented!! A brief history about them.
They heard on the radio of a rock song and the lead singer is very curious about how they write and produce it. To his amazement, he cannot believe that songs are so easy to be written plus some simple rock music. So there he is now, forming Maroon 5, mixing rock and jazz together. Amazing stuff man!
Today, did my nano revision and need to do up my project. Oh well.
Gave my presentation today at the English lesson today and once I stepped out, I actually forgotten the title of my speech. My mind went blank and everyone laughed. Oh well, then, I looked at the paper and there is the title! MISPLACED MODIFIERS! And I gave 2 examples and ended my speech. Got one of my friend told me that I sounded like a teacher. Oh well, I must keep my level of modesty! ;)

Woa!! Yesterday is certainly a jam pack day for me and certainly, I feel that I have fully utitlised it... WHY!? I didn't study that much, merely attended one lecture and didn't do any revision. But I am very happy and not regretful for not revising. WHY?
Straight after my lecture, which is a complete waste of time, I went to Ghim Moh Secondary School and went for the Amazing Race conducted by Clementi Student Care Service (SCS). It's very fun as we are judges and follow with the Secondary Two Normal Tech Students. They are very quick in their thinking and I am sure that they love the game too. 1. They are very smart people but they just do not like studying. Why? Because they do not put priority in their studies. I am beginning to feel that NUS, uni life, doesn't really prepare us for the working life at all. Especially with what I am doing today... WHY??
Coz i've attended my lectures, regarding inorganic chemistry, life science module. I know that these modules are critical for the CAP score in my uni life, but am I going to use it??! THe application part is totally zero.
Seriously, I find that Singapore's education system should be revamped! REVAMPED for good. I know that they want us to be knowledgeable, but think about this, acquiring too much knowledge will turn out to be useless if not used. Why not we learn the knowledge and practise them? This will make knowledge useful. However, the problem is that there IS NO ROOM FOR PRACTISING for the knowledge at all! That totally suck.

Utterly disappointed with Singapore IDOL! Kns!! Simply turns me off. The performers are really very skewed and Singapore Idol is not a competition about the quality.... it's the quantity of the votes.... THAT'S ALL! Leandra didn't perform her best that day and many of my friends felt it too... And you know what? She is in the top 3 positions. Can't believe it... -_-!! This reminds me of the Rhapsody Concert which I attended last month. It's simply popularity vote... I'm not going to watch Singapore Idol anymore... Woa!! Today, did alot of admin stuff for my projects, mainly Grant-A-Wish and Exam Tea. I have created flyers and they are quite small! Need to re-size again! Oh man...
Oh yes, I finally got back my Nanotest result. Got 58/100. The mean of the students got 60 plus loz... Never mind man, still got the next test to catch up! Yeah...
I did my Chem pract today and it's quite xiong... It's abt crystallization and my crystals attained are very small!! Ah!! I think for the next week's practical, I'll need to alter the results bah! ;)

Today, I took a nap and was real tired eversince this morning's 8am english lesson. Took my test and got 10/20. Ha... Really thankful for my tutor and the whole class actually waited for me to finish the test because my tutor, Nina, cannot discuss the test while I'm taking it mah!
Watched Singapore Idol and there are quite a few good ones like Maia Lee, Slyvester Sim and Blinda Cho. AMazing performance they have got and really hope that make it to the finals!! They have their own unique personality and wow. And you are listening to a person who seldom watch Singapore idol! ;) Tml awaiting for the results.

Can't believe that I asked 4 people for dinner and 3 of them can't make it. The other one, Shaun, didnt even reply my sms! Then, unexpectedly, I met Mujahid and we ate together. Ha... So heng ah?! ;) Oh well, had sweet sour chicken claypot rice for dinner... Not bad though.

Anyway, I'm real excited with what I am doing currently and I am actually trying to be positive as possible in my thinking! ;)
Well, I have come to realise that next week, there are 3 tests for me. They are
1. English Mock Exam
2. Maths Mock Exam
3. Life science online test
Woa!! Seriously there are alot of things to prepare for it and I must really work towards them! I am also currently in the midst of preparing exam tea for Community Service Club. Exam tea is providing free snacks, drinks so that studying in NUS before and during the study week will be much comfortable. :)
Really feel that I have became much fairer and I really do not have the time to go to Sentosa for sun-tanning. Probably after I come back from India. Coz I feel that I don't look healthy if I carry on to be fairer and fairer!

Today, I woke up late for my english lesson and I was supposed to have a test also!! I quickly smsed my tutor and telling her that i'm sick!! Ha!! And she is able to arrange this thursday for me to do the test!
Then, I met alot of my english tutormates and from them, I'm the only one who didn't attend today's lesson! Oh man!! So paiseh and worse is that they saw me with the badminton rackets!! Ha!! Oh well, but i've told them that I overslept!
Played badminton with Zhiwei, Angel and her gang. Not bad and it's really been awhile eversince I have played this game!! Had fun sweating it all out and enjoy lo... ;)
Today, went to get the toothpaste (Glister) and the mouth spray. I also ate Vitamin B pills for energy. Really feel good after eating!! :@) That motivated me to brush my teeth. I can feel my teeth whiter!! Yeah!! Feel good about the new product!! ;)

Anyway, I have went out with Jianbang and Ray yesterday and tried out 3 different types of pizza at the Pizzaplace (Raffles City).

3. Seafood Pizza (DRIVE ME NUTS!!!!!!!)
I wasn't full after it, probably they are too delicious that I can't have enough of it. But I didn't tell them that la. So if you guys are free, go and try lo. Each person around $10, including drinks. So not bad!!!!!

Oh yes, I have received the 'funny.exe' file from my friend and luckily, yesterday, I managed to find the website that has the antivirus for it. Ha!! Heng.
A group of friends and I are planning for Amazing race which is installed mainly for sec 1NT and 2NT as part of their excursion. All the places will be at Clementi and Buona Vista and went to recce today. There are alot of places which I am not sure about this part of the Singapore. And came to realise today that Holland V is actually very very near to Buo
Today, I went to NTU. Somewhat feel that it's another airport in existence!! The place is very big and full of Halls. I went there because I need to promote JamX and get the rock band wannabes to sign up for the competition. We planned to find those who have the rock band look, but at the canteen, very few has the look! Ha... but managed to give a handful la.
We are quite lucky in the sense that we are able to get the cultural head of a Hall, who in turns has other contacts of the other cultural heads of the other Halls! Which means, the idea of JamX will be passed and spread! Hope it works!!

Have attended Zehe's birthday yesterday and it was a day filled with bbq chicken wings. Met my C5 people also and was quite happy. Yesterday, didn't have time to go and type the blog. Anyway, I've attended another SkIe meeting again. It was fun, as we get to know that we should have to set goals before going to India this year end. The teaching assistant, Lynn, talked to us that when we act, we must know why we act, and how it affects us. After having this mental thinking, we should know how to apply it... learn it as a life skill... amazing stuff!
I was quite shocked to hear that only Crystal, Chee Kian and I formed a group to go and sell the calendars to the department. I thought that we are very late in forming the group because we told Mika about it only one week after she has sent out the email. But at today's meeting, I then realize that only our group has volunteered. Oh man, can't believe it's like the army again. I mean, we should be involved in the project together mah! I feel that life is really in equilibrium. Whenever you have solved a problem, which leaves you to zero, another will crop up. It happened to me quite a few times along the my whole journey in life.
