Elections
On Sat, from 6.30pm to 3.30am, Community Service Club is holding their annual elections for the Main Committee. Woa... there are 14 people present, vying for 15 positions in the MC. It went very well and felt that the competition is really very high, especially for the Vice President role... there are 3 people fighting for the position.
This is the longest meeting that I have ever gone through in my life. When it's my turn, I was quite nervous. However, when I started to speak, I felt quite comfortable. Having people to look at me when speaking is quite a good feeling! Ha!! After my introduction, I have to answer all the questions given my the panel and the audience. I tried to answer them with my honest opinions. Later, I went out when the voting was carried out. Then, when I was told to come back, applause came!! And I was elected as the Welfare Director of CSC! Yeah!! So happy!

Today, I feel that in university, it's important that you have friends around you, accompany when you are at lecture, eat or even at the library. Otherwise, you may feel lonely. Initally, you may be able to withstand it, however, after a while, you may not be able to take it... Trust me.
Healthy Living
I've been living a healthy lifestyle nowadays. Why? Like today, I ate vegetarian beehoon for breakfast, lunch is kway teow soup and vegetarian rice for dinner. It's very delicious and affordable. I've been including as much soy content in my food intake as I've read that it helps promote hair growth!! Haa!!
Community Service
Today is one of the busiest day that I have found myself in CSC. Coz after lecture, I went down to help out in the Grant A Wish booth and was quite amazed that no one was there to mann it. Diaoz... But I stood there for 1hr45mins. Met quite a few friends, Boon Hian included man.

Today is certainly a shag day for me! I went for my Nanoworld Lecture and it started to drizzle. Nowadays, it keeps on raining, as if it's free. Luckily, I wasn't drenched at all. It's my first day handing up tutorial too! Yeah!
Hip-Hop Audition
I went for the Hip-hop Audition today at around 3.30pm. I actually thought of not joining it because I was afraid that I can't maintain a regular participation for it. Oh well, there are quite alot of people who came to the audition. Alot of them seemed to have dance background. During the rehearsal, I got to learn that there are 2 SRJC ex dance team members in the audition too. Ha. Small world eh?
I was tagged L-3. And when it's our group, L to enter, I was feeling quite nervous. I stood in front of the judges before the dance. Soon, the music started and we showed to them the 2 sets of 8 dance steps. I tried to smile and did it properly. However, think that my motions are not too distinct, especially the slowlin
VJC
Tiring morning to start with! Forced myself at around 7.05am because I'm going to VJC for the Grant-A-Wish, manning the booth with Regina. Luckily, yesterday had dinner with Jianbang. So that I knew how to go to VJC from NUS. Somemore it's my first time!
I was there for less than 2hrs. The turn out seemed not bad... 3wishes/hr. There should be more range of wishes pasted on the board. Coz most of them are juz NTUC vouchers...
Lectures
I was real shagged. Slept throughout the MRT. And luckily I was on time for my Maths lecture. Sitting beside me was actually a near full-fledged gay! The way he dressed, his handbag and the worse, his voice entered my poor ears. He was really speaking like a girl! Well, I don't really oppose him. But it's like, why he really wants to speak this way as he has an adam apple? Hmmz
Before History lesson, Angel, Zhiwei and I went to the Central Library, where we dozed. Real shagged from reading the History book! Ha!!
THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS
I feel that life in uni makes your day pass by very fast... I somewhat feel a sense of freedom in this sch... It's more or less up to you. Whether you want to study/put in effort, it's all up to you. Trying the best in what you can is the best policy for me. Be it you are in any course, any eca, any project, try to give it your best shot!
Making friends is one factor that is important in NUS. Otherwise, you'll feel very dull and alone. Especially for tutorial lessons. Luckily, today, I was with Felix as we both lost our way on the way to Maths tutorial. It's due to the construction. And we are both latest in class, no wonder the lecturer knows our name! Ha...

...Lecture...
Today's lecture was interesting, regarding Nanotechnology and introduction to atoms, electrons, neutrons... My lecturer even showed us a video clip on the existance of the atoms. Very interesting and I actually recalled most of the things that I have learnt from JC. One interesting fact... When an excited electron loses energy to the ground state, it will actually produces colour. Very interesting indeed. Right??
...Preparation for Grant-A-Wish...
Next week is Grant-A-Wish and I'm glad that the aids for the booth is done up. Around 10 plus people were present for the preparation. Yeah!! :@) I've spoken to Regina whether is she interested in joining Community Service Club. Well, she didn't even know why she's here. Because she feels that she's not going to join CSC, but she's part of this project, that's why she's here today. I think that after this project, she'll not be in CSC anymore.

I met Huixin at Science today to distribute flyers for the upcoming Grant-A-Wish! Yeah... I can't wait for the actual thing to start. Next week, we are starting to set up booths at the Arts faculty to get donors for the needy children and families!
During the distribution, I also met quite a few of my friends. From Mayflower to JC. Ha... I also found out another link. My friend, Felix (JC friend) is actually a primary school friend of Moses (Secsch friend). So amazing right? Ha!! And they met at the same pathway. It's friendster all the time man!! :@)

Woo! Today marks the first study day in school! My first lecture is maths lecture and actually met Felix before entering. Well, it's not bad lo... the lecturer kept on describing about those terms of numbers...eg Real numbers, rational and irrational numbers... Until it's quite luanz... but still manage to understand....
...Strange Fact from Maths Lecture...
Hippasus (a follower of Pythagoras) founded the fact that root 2 is an irrational number. And because the villagers are unable to accept this fact, he was murdered as he is viewed as a radical. After awhile, the Greek philosphers really found out that root 2 is indeed an irrational number and they celebrated this occasion by killing 100 oxen!! So dumb!! Haa
Eversince, root 2 is grown famous as the hypotenuse of right triangles... :_)

...National Day...
Went very early for the NDP actual day performance at Kallang MRT. At the MRT, 2 aunties approached Zehe and I for NDP tickets. And the idea of black market sprang in my head. I think there is a black market every year for them but too bad, didn't see it happening in front of my eyes.
Today, Yiwen spent time baking delicious brownies for the whole NDP Group and for me! At the first bite, it was somewhat like heavenly! It seemed to me that all along, I have been awaiting for this taste. U think that I may be kidding, but to me, it's for real man!! Alot of my group members find them tasty too!! YEAH

I really enjoyed the final performance!! Especially the music and together with the crowd. Every dance step, I tried to smile and have fun! WOO!! I came across her picture today at New Paper. When I read the article, I thought that I have misread. But it's the two words which made me remember my secsch friend back to sec1 days. The image on the New Paper is 180 degrees change from that 8 years back! Shocking though. Her profession is a dancer. I went to dig out my secsch sch book and the picture resembled some similarity of her in 2 separate photos!
She's currently in a relationship with a Japanese soccer player in Singapore. After reading her article, I suddenly pondered. How life can really change in a short span of less than 10 years! Amazing. If I were to walk past her along the streets, I wouldn't be able to recognise her. Well, hope all the best to her... :@)

Woa... I forced myself to get up at 8.15am this morning. But in the end, I got up at 8.45am! I was still on time for the 9.30am programme of today's camp. We are all busy preparing for the show, which is going to be put up in the afternoon.
My group acted out as a spoof of "the unbeatables" together with "Allan Wu and Wong Li-Lin". I acted as the Allan Wu. Really felt like an extra, which is supposed to be. Ha!! I really had fun, wearing the supersoka bottles, beret and carrying a supersoka to act as a security guard! :)
For the Mass Dance, I really had fun too! Really felt that the song by Marc Anthony is very short. After about 3minutes, the dance is over! Ha!! It's cool though... and hope that tml, for the RAG day, we'll get to dance again!
After our performance, all of us went to the field whereby we used the supersoka guns to shoot all the people. All of us had fun spraying water at our team-mates! Ha. Saboh all of them! Especially
It's been so long eversince I've written a Blog!!
I am now currently staying at Prince George Park Residence at NUS. It's single room and I feel condusive studying alone in the hostel! :@) Made only 2 neighbours. Feel that the whole level, I'm the only Singaporean! Ha!
I have all my modules that I want! Heng ah! All with the help of Yiwen and my seniors. Shifting into the hostel without internet is quite hectic. Feel that we are getting too dependent on the internet programmes nowadays. Be it registration, buying, reading, most of us are logging on to the net everyday to get the most updated information.
I'm having my Orientation week currently. Met about 6 of my coursemates in Material Science. They are friendly bunch of people and somewhat felt happy to meet them. :@) Oh well, real nice to have started the blog drive again!! :@) Yeah!!
