Mervyn Hoe: My Daily Happenings

Wow! Last evening (20th July 2013), we had so much fun! We brought my parents and Kate to the Tropical Fruits Fiesta and it's well organised, just that it was so warm! It's only FREAKING $3!  And we are provided... 1. Buffet Dinner  2. Balloons 3. Galore of Tropical Fruits (Longans, Durians, Mangosteen) 4. Delicious Green Bean Soup and Pulut Hitam 5. Massage Sessions 6. A Booth about Dengue and the Aedes Mosquitoes 7. Lucky Draw We didn't know there is a dinner in the first place, hence we headed straight down to the place after dinner. We were greeted by balloons! And there are minion balloons! How creative! And Kate was given one! Later did we know that they actually made about 5 of them. We are so lucky to have one of it. Woo man! Everyday, I would be holding multiple roles, just like an actor on stage. In the day, I would be a chef, preparing either breakfast or lunch. And it is important because it is this that provides healthy meals for me and my family. Then, I will be a Financial Consultant, meeting my clients or prospects. It's fun and exciting as I can get to meet different people and I can also bring back bread and butter too. Also, this may stretch to as long as 6-7 hours a day as I would need to travel in between appointments. Next, when I'm back, I would be a dad and play with my children and also talk to my wife! I would have my remainder energy, bringing Josh to NTUC, play at playground as well as reading and playing cooking! Ha. Hi Everyone! The long awaited pictures (not so well taken) are out! Haa... Shifting house is fun and really involves team effort!! Ha... And these are some shots of our house... This is our living room! It has a spinning fan... and we have an Ikea sofa and the kitchen table is tentatively placed in the living room... to enjoy the scenery while dining... Our Baby room... This is actually pre-painted by the previous owner and they have the ang-mo look.. if you know what I mean.. Ha... Our walk in wardrobe... Thank god that the previous owner left us with this! Ha...it is something new and we do not have any clothes cupboard... its an open concept and we hang our clothes in open space... the curtain is to prevent dust from entering... Hi Everyone.. Haven't been blogging these days... Well, the pictures are from Prudential Dinner Night and had a great time because I managed to see the award winners up on stage... most of the times, can only see their names on the internet... and their production... but its only that night, all of us can see who the person is... haa Next year, I will be on the stage!! Anyway, I have been occupied these few days in cleaning up my new apartment in Bishan and I'm really very thankful that my father-in-law (whom i call 'Pa') is really very helpful. He has helped us in many ways.... 1. drawing out the floor plan 2. accompanying us to get the lighting, furniture 3. helping out to paint and mend the holes 4. assisting us in the re-cabling of the house 5. so much more and his precious time...
