Today is a 'great day'. The Chem paper really sux to the core... Haizz... Simply don't like memorizing... I mean... Yes... I applied the wrong reagents, formula for the chemical equations. Damn. Can't believe it. I feel that the NUS way of teaching is really one that is of impracticality. Imagine this. I am taking Organic Chemistry and yes, they have taught us how to make compounds, determine them and know about the chemical reagent. Then, there comes one question. Do we really need to memorise!??! I don't think it is but why do they want us to memorize!?!? KNS. If a chemist were to make or create a medicine, there are sure guidelines and a sheet in front of them telling them what to add and all the crap right? In fact, there should not be a need to memorize. They are merely testing the memory for proficiency. Not really the technique. If I were to say... a true Science degree should have one module without exams but pure practical and test the undergraduate's s

Picture of Miss Britney Spears! COOL EXPRESSION isn't it?!? HA!! :)
YES! Today, I'm so glad that the geography paper is over. I still have about 4 more hours to prep till 2am for tomorrow's Chemistry paper! Ha!! But I still type this blog... :) Anyway, after my lunch today, I actually went to sleep for half an hour. Real tired man! Luckily I took the nap, otherwise, I have no energy for my geography paper today. :) And I'm quite happy because I managed to complete just on time. I wonder why. This time, unlike History paper, for both my arts paper, I manage to fully make use of the 2 hours and I'm quite contented with what I have wrote. I tried to squeeze whatever things I can remember and apply! Yeah!! Hope can get B bah, coz my CA is not so good le.... HA!! Today's blog very short... can't wait for tomorrow to come, coz it's somewhat the 5th paper and left one more which I graded it PASS/FAIL! Woo!! Tomorrow faster come!! Yes, now trying to get the chemical equations into my head.... SICK MAN! HA!! :)
Hi Everyone! Time really pass by so fast! Can't believe it. I have quite a few thoughts in my mind when I study through the past few nights. I just feel that NUS should change their way of teaching students. I know that they actually include written examinations to test the undergraduate's proficiency on the subject. However, have they ever considered how much of help would it help the students?? I just feel that I actually learnt more through projects and discussion compared to pure memorising or studying of the subject. I would feel that probably engaging in a public or voiced examination would be of a preferred choice because after all, we do speak and talk about our topics. Now, we seldom write much upon certain topics, especially those Arts module. Yes, it tests us on the fluency and the command of language. But come on, what we speak... the way we speak and the way we write is two near exclusive things. And when we come out and work, do we seriously rely on the writ

Hi!. This Picture is another collection... part of the pirated series. Instead of the Magical Garden, It's now called Animal Garden! And F4 and the gal have converted to animals! HA!! (Courtesy from the name changer) Xie LE!
Well well, another 9am paper is finally over... Changing Landscapes of Singapore. The gruelling two hour paper is certainly a never-forget. I wrote 5 essays and at the last 30minutes, I rushed to complete the 20 mark essay. And after planning and writing the first page, the teacher announced that we have left 15minutes!! I panicked slightly because I still have points to write. By the last 5 minutes, I had about 3 more points and I rushed to complete it. By this time, my handwriting was becoming kanasai and my hand hurts because the cutting of the pen is not so good. After that, I began writing to a point that it was the last minute of my life. The guy on my right saw me and he actually glanced at me twice, looking the way I was writing. The table was jerking and I just can't bear to stop my pen from writing. Soon, I concluded the essay. And 'PENS DOWN'. I didn't even have time to check the overall 5 essays but it's ok. Ha!! Yeah, one paper down again.

Today, I went and met Burton and Joyce. Yiwen and I went for the initialisation of the 'Tian Dao'. It's quite an experience as we learnt quite alot. Things which I can't say to other people, be it face-to-face and within this blog itself. It's a personal secret.. according to them. Well, they are not really a religion, but they actually actively involve in teaching people about the Right Path to Heaven. It certainly had opened up my mind and there are alot of things which are kinda linked and very amazing. WOO! After that, we dined there for lunch. It's vegetarian Nasi Lemak!! U gotta listen to this part!! Well, everything they prepared are vegetarian and I'm real impressed with his Auntie's cooking! Simply amazing. This is what we ate! 1. Fake Ikan Bilis (It's mushroom!!) 2. Fried shredded potatoes 3. Coconut Rice 4. Fake Luncheon Meat 5. Fake Fried Fish 6. Cucumber 7. OTAH!!! VERY SUPERB!! WOO! 8. Green Bean soup Woa man... Now it's like

This tissue: Courtesy from Felix Mini Mug. It's such a hilarious tissue cover. When I first saw it, Zhiwei and I had a delayed response because we actually saw it from bottom up. And realized it was a cat head and it was named 'TOMB RADAR'. This is really a pirated tissue cover. Can't believe it.

This is my breakfast for today. Chopped fresh tomatoes with mayonnaise and tomato sauce and spaghetti. Ha!
Hi Everyone again I have juz eaten my supper and guess what?? I watched tv today!! Which I had not been doing for quite long. Watched a show entitled "20/20" at Channel Newsasia. And they are showcasing a story about a pair of twins which are very unique. They were both female twins. However, at about 35yrs old, one of them actually went for a sex change, to become a guy. He used to suffering from psychological stresses that made him to an extend of self-multilation of herself!! He hated his body... of why he has breasts and after that, he seeked alot of doctors and specialists. It took him about 2 years to have his voice deepened to that of a guy and gained muscle mass via repeated dosages of testosterone ( Courtesy from Meitoon and Bertram ). Before becoming a guy, she used to be a rubgy player and alot of the players in the opposition team only managed to realize that they are competiting against a lady after the match. No one can really differentiate that she is a lady in
Hi EVERYONE! What a SUNNY SATURDAY !! Well well, I couldn't really sleep last night. Maybe due to the nap which I took straight after dinner last night! HA!! Anyway, real glad that another exam is over!! Oh yes, I am also very happy that I manage to get a few wrong! :) And guess what?? 4 more to go!! Ha!! YEAH!! Everyday, I'm getting closer to the end of exams. Isn't that cool!! I can't believe that quite a few of my friends commented about the dish-washing. Didn't expect yar!! Btw, want to ask... Have u frequently volunteer to wash all the dinner dishes, including the pots and pans?? I bet there are very few... Ha!! :) Anyway, I feel that sometimes, it's good to help out in the washing of dishes... because most of the time, the only contribution that we do is to help finish up the food. Or at most get the rice for the family members right? :) Anyway, I bet that we do help out sometimes... but most of the time, it's very RARE! Am i correct to say
Hi Everyone!! Today is Friday and yes...it's my first paper for my Second Semester! Ha!! Anyway, I juz treated the exam like a tutorial session... Anyway, I find that the paper was alright... and I am happy about it. Basically, I feel that alot of people will be doing quite well for the exam because the questions are quite straightforward. Ha!! But anyway, I hope to get a B+ for it... :) Tomorrow is my english exam... gotta try and squeeze much information as much as I can. Somemore it's at 9am. As a Sengkanger, I have to wake up at 6.50am and leave home at around 7.20am! So early right?!?! Argh! Today, on the way back, it's kinda irritating. Got a lady...keep playing game and she keep dieing. And u know what?? The music is so irritating... and the worse thing is that she is taking the same LRT as me. After the NEL! HOW COME SO HENG?! Ha! Buay tahanz. And on the LRT, still die 2-3 times... what a snob! Ha!! :) I mean... as a considerate person, if she wants to hear th
Today is certainly a good day to remember!! This is what happened! FACT / FAKE! Currently, Class95Fm is having this game every hour in the radio waves. And today, I was at clubroom, listening to the radio. Then, heard Vernetta Lopez announcing the start of the game. "The Qn is: Justin Timberlake's first solo album is called 'JUSTIN'. Fact/Fake" I knew the answer and decide to just try my luck. I tried and u know what?? At the 3rd call, I heard the ringtone and next, it was her who answered!! I was very thrilled. And she sounded so cheerful. And I answered. And my voice was recorded. Then, she took down the details. Yeah... so happy and I literally won $50 cash juz like that!! I really didn't expect. I immediately told some of my friends at the clubroom, Fred and Lihui and we all listened. I called up my sis and Mum to listen to the radio also!! Ha!! Then, after SPICE GIRLS' song, there came... the recording!! Ha!!! Yeah!! :) Real happy

Well well Sunday eh?? Ha!! Today, my friend was featured in GENY of Straitstimes. Ha.... His name is Otard Chew. Ya... we are kinda like buddies in army... in OCS... haa... Quite lucky to have met him. It's like during the army, I don't really like my attached buddy in OCS (first month). Then, met him and later, became friends. And kinda click... and tell jokes, do pull up... simply very fun la. Those were the days man. Anyway, yes... his name is one of the unique names. Some other mentioned names are really odd... Grandville... his sister, Pony. It's real amazing. Btw, then I asked him how he managed to be on the newspaper. It's because one of his friend's friend is currently working internship with Straits Times and she needed to come out with an article. So she/he (not mentioned by Otard) came and ask him for information and there... he was featured already. Yiwen and I kinda feel that it's a good way of publicity le. Newspaper is indeed a silent w

Hi Everyone!! Muggin?? Eating?? Whatever! But I juz feel that I have gotta work hard... Gosh...My geography isn't doing good. My recent practical got 6.5/15. Gosh. Alot of people got close to 13.5. Anyway, that doesn't matter. The thing mattered most is my 20% project. Got a B- and the teachers commented that we do not have 'magic eyes' into seeing the perspective of geography. Gosh.... WHatever!! Gotta jiayou! Anyway, I juz feel that exams is round the corner. It's really corner because it's next week!! AH!!! Can someone pause time?? (i know that this cannot be but who cares) Please stop time!!! Yesterday, it's a bz day for me because I went down personally from NUS to Changi and later back to NUS. Singapore ain't not big at all if you do not have your own transport. And rely on public transport. I went to Aloha Changi and booked chalet for 2 days. :) On the way back, met one new friend whom is from Pakistan. Real coincidence to meet him a
Hi everyone. I have came out with my own personal quiz. Go to this link and test how much u know abt Mervyn Spears!! :) http://www.quizyourfriends.com/yourquiz_IM.php?quizname=050414095543-262213
Oh yes! Tuesday. Next week's exam.... Sobz Went with Lihui to Clementi NTUC to buy food for the exam tea... Quite happy for it. When I was buying the tea bags, got a lady asked me: " Excuse me, what is this word?" I replied, " This word is tea." " Oh, is this teh tarik?" "Yes it is." "Oh ok... this is the drink that cost $0.10 a cup last time right? The Indian guy sell one right? Very nice hor... very nice hor?" I was like... "Yes...very nice." "This packet then same taste? Nice or not?" "Yar, it's very nice..." Then, she carried on and thanked the both of us. Say that we helped her to read the message. Well, she does feel happy that someone (us) actually helped her. :) But I feel that she is those of not to the same of the normal mentality. Hope all the best for her. Then, I went to school and print out quite a few documents. Alot to read and print for my geography. Gotta read....
Today, I went to school and guess what? Alot of my classmates are not around. Well, I went to school to get freshies to come for the Community Service Camp on 20-24th June 05. And I realised one bad fact. Well, we are divided into 8 groups. All of the councillors are expected to do at least 30minutes of recruitment at YIH area, where the freshies are doing their medical checkup. And I have chatted with my friend, Anthony. Guess what? Later, I found out from Cheekian that we actually have to 'fight' and get freshies for our group. I didn't know that leh. I thought that it was merely a joint effort, that once we get the names, we equally distribute to our groups. And I didnt know that we are getting for our group also!! -_-!! In fact, this brings us to inter and intra competition... Inter: In the sense that besides our CCA, Union camp members have set up their booth to net the freshies also. So, we are competiting between ourselves and the other organisation. Intra: So
Hi Everyone. It's Sunday and yar! It's so fast that monday's coming. Gosh! Gotta get some sense into my brain. I am trying quite hard to get the chemical reactions into my head!! I find that as i grow older, things that require memorising... it's not my Forte. Argh! Especially the organic chem that i'm taking... gotta practise and practise.... bo pian. Today, get to meet Burton and u know what? He looked different eversince i last saw him in camp. He's now 58kg... last time he was close to 75kg. How he did it?! Through being a vegetarian and exercising. Real amazing man!! And yes, met his girlfriend, Joyce. They are kinda a happy couple. :) And i shared with them about the idea of shop@home service. I have managed to clear their doubts and they actually don't mind consider to attend Wednesday's sharing session. :) And the funny thing is that they even exchanged ideas with me. They talked to me about what they are doing currently. They a

Tuesday!! Ha!! As usual, I skip my marketing lecture because last week I attended live at the lecture. :) Instead, I went to do my marketing subject pool to fufil my last half and hour. U KNOW WHAT?? That time I had a penalty, which caused me to forfeit an hour of my time, was because of a woman whom didn't want me to enter because I was 5minutes late!! And guess what! This WOMAN happen to be conducting this survey!! GOSH!! When I enter the room, I look at her and it's confirmed her. And she looked at me for about 3 times. I guess that she remembered me!! KNS!! Such a small world and I thought that I'll never meet her again. But well, I'm so "lucky". I went to the warehouse with Yiwen in the afternoon today and there are quite a few housewives buying their household stuff. Ha!! Feel happy that Yiwen is kinda putting 100% in what she is doing. Great! I shall encourage her more. :) I got back my Changing Landscapes Project. Got a B. Kinda happy already because
Well well!! Simply a fine weather...so cooling as the rain kept falling. ;) Anyway, today, I went to school in formal wear because for my marketing presentation. And u know what?? It's kinda weird to have alot of my friends having not to recognise me at all! Like Weikeong, he saw Felix then he recognise me. Kinda gaoxiao. I meet up Zhihao and he at first thought that I'm at the benches, but I was standing at one side. And yet he didn't recognise me at all!! Oh yes. For the marketing presentation, it went quite well!! Before the presentation, all of us are feeling quite nervous and together with the cold aircon, I can feel the sweat of mine!! Aiyo!! It's cold sweat leh. Then, it's my turn to speak. I kinda stammered for a while at the start and later, I went on, and didn't refer to the notes. YEAH! And later, it's Charles and later it's my turn again. This time, I have to say more for my slides. U know what? It's real scary to have alo

Picture of me at CSC Briefing... Kinda feeling tired and it's so DRAGGGGGGY!!!! zzZZZzzz
Today, I went to school to have my CSC Camp Meeting... the final one before exams. I was slightly late due to the lunch which my mum bought for me. Opps! Ha! :) Left half-way through because I have to go and do my marketing project! Well, I actually walked from YIH to Sheares Hall. Feel so clever abt myself. Ha!! Btw, we discussed till 7pm and it's kinda worth it because we have came up with the essay and the powerpoint presentation. At the point of discussion, Charles and Jackson are still doing their part... Kinda feel that the discussion time can be cut down if they have done finish their part... Find that Hall people, they have their own mindset... as in they feel that as they stay in Hall, they have the mindset that they are somewhat above the rest. They know most of the things. I am not sure.... but they gave me the impression. I asked them alot about their Hall stuff but they didn't really ask me what I am doing... And for the CCA points, one of them have 70 plus. Gosh!
Today, I made a new friend . His name is Stephen and he's a psychology student Yr 1. It was at the Changing Landscapes tutorial and we are doing the debate discussion together. That's how I met him. Also got his msn. Yeah.. a start of a new friendship. :) Oh yes... I was late for my material science tutorial and by the time I reached there, they are already at third question. However, that's not my point. My point is that it was my first ever experience to alight at the new bus stop at NUS. It's close to S14 of Science faculty and it's very convenient because even though i'm late, the distance that I ran, apart from usual days, was shorter! Ha!! :) Attended a meeting today and the turn out is not so good. Kinda feel that it's very draggy. Not that I'm pintpointing or something. But there are too many interruptions in the midst of the programme meeting. They say that they are busy with their schedule and yet, they want to drag. Kinda contradict
