Mervyn Hoe: My Daily Happenings

Yes, today was my god-pa's 1 year death anniversary and I'm really really very amazed at the big paper house that my god ma has actually bought for him. Its really very big and I can't imagine that my god-pa will be staying there. And last night, while manning the house at the void deck, I slept at the void deck, on the rattan mat. Ha... Initially, I had no pillow. So I folded another rattan mat and used it as my head pillow. After that, I find it quite uncomfortable... Then, the clever me got an idea. I found stacks of rice grains and decided to use 1 and try. ANd I didn't expect that it was actually very comfortable. It followed the contours of my head... Ha... Perfect for sleeping!!! And tadaa... Woke up at around 6plus in the morning and in the afternoon, we finished all the prayers and the burning of the house. Guess what? I even played with them catching for 1 hour... The game really tested my ability of shuttle runs... Catching them is quite ok.... but con...

My my, its been awhile eversince I have blogged! I am beginning to start loving my career as an advisor. Really, even though at times it had been tough for me, standing for hours to get to talk to as many people, its worth it! Last week, I got 4 new clients and one of them is a mother of 2 children. I managed to help her plan for her children's education plans and guess what?? She is really very amazing lady whom I really gave her thumbs up. She had two miscarriages and yet, she is very open about it. And really admired her love towards her 2 boys... Ha! Yea... really very happy! ;) My another client also happened to meet at Jurong East and guess what? I was amazed to know that she belonged to the same church as me... Ha... What a small world ya?? Ha... Friends -------- Yes, I know. I had been unable to join my friends for outings and their chalet also... man. But really my schedule is unable to make me attend them lo... One thing for sure is that in the near future, I will join ...

This week is totally a week of complete dateline rushing. Felix, my lab partner and I are rushing for 3 practical oral exams this week and not only that, I am hoping that I can complete my song composition be completed this week! Yeah! Going to school makes me feel quite relaxed. And to think that for a full time student, there are actually quite alot of free time one can get. During the free time, they can slot in exercises such as swimming or sleeping. Ha. Anyway, 25 more days to freedom! WOOHOO! By the way, I am contemplating as to whether to get or to rent my Commencement ceremony costume for my graduation... hmm...
