Its been quite awhile eversince I have blogged.


I find that people is filled with activities. Its like when you have completed something, like a project or so, something new is awaiting for you already.


For me, I celebrated two birthdays yesterday and its like I had to travel to quite a few places. Am really glad to meet my supervisor again and celebrate her 27th birthday with 26 candles. Ha... Opps.

Then celebrated Hisham's 25th birthday. Man, everyone is turning old!


I got this revelation....

I really don't really like birthdays. Argh, its like a day of spending and eating birthday cakes (so unhealthy) and why can't we make it a simple matter?

Yes, I find that the above stated is not simple because the idea of spending on gifts ain't a good idea for me though. For me, when its my birthday, I am really scared to actually receive presents because I have no idea what things I will receive. And ya, only some of my friends know what is really going through my mind when I received my past presents. Ha... Its really a fake Mervyn in the making when I receive presents...

Guess what? I managed to dig out my grandma's pictures. And this is a family photograph of my mum's family. Ha...So amazing right?

My mum is the small girl sitting beside her father. I really find history of family quite interesting...And I am slowly uncovering more and more from my mother's and aunt's account. :)

Cycling across Park Connector

Cycling has never been so exciting, and to see the children enjoying and exploring the new places, it's truly rewarding.  On Wednesday morning, our family with Josh's friend met to venture the Kallang Park Connector!  All geared up with scooters and bicycles!  We were thankful that the weather was fine and windy too!  Personally speaking,  I really love this bridge! The children were exhilarated when they reached it! Unblocked view 360 degrees!  Thanks to Kelly for the family photo. Initially, I intended to jog throughout the Park Connector. Instead, I rented the Ofo bike. I'm really thankful to find one at a nearby block.  We reached Potong Pasir, and it was well built with new bridges and greens. The Kallang River was clean, rubbish free!  We spotted many patches of plants mixed with lalang, cow grass, creeper plants and morning glory. We tried to find grasshoppers. Instead, we spotted butterflies, carpenter bees, Sting bug, water hens and their chicks, herons and egrets!

Baby 3 Part Two

Wow! Our new born is one day old already! :) I'm really very thankful for all the 200 over congratulations and well wishes from FaceBook as well as the fruit baskets from fellow friends and colleagues!  Baby Hoe on 9th July 2013 Josh and Eve and Baby early morning before Josh goes to school Aren't they loving? Happy grandfather with the three grandchildren. I honestly find that when we grow old, the success-o-meter is being a grandparent. And being able to see your grandchildren! It's certainly priceless. Me and my three children. Kate followed me to squat! So funny. Picture of Eve before birth. She sat on the couch. Then, when contractions came, she will get up and I will support her. Kids at Jacob Ballas (Botanic Gardens)

This afternoon, we packed our lunch and headed to Botanic Gardens, Jacob Ballas. It's a park filled with children and my children enjoyed so much at the pool area. It's Kate's first time playing at the pool and she loves water sprays! Can't wait for her to walk by herself and I can imagine her exploring water spray to water spray! Weather was great and I went to play with my children at the pool area! It's fun to be a child once again actually! I can still remember that time I brought Josh here and there were only expats, and not so crowded as it was a week day. Botanic Gardens has a wide array of plants. We managed to see ficus trees, giant water lily (which originated from Africa), banana trees and so much more! It will be great if I bring along a manual XLR camera with me next time. I'm quite amazed that there was a party area and people celebrated their one year old baby. They made it quite grand as they hired a host and there was children music and
