Hi Everyone
Nowadays, nearly every night I would listen to Yas at Class95fm and she is really a great Dj, playing lots of love songs and making me feel that relationship is actually very important in one's life.
Actually, I have been thinking... Many of us have been working and thinking about work nearly 90% of our lives... making us related to work, having a work relationship. But this is quite sad because at the end of the day, we are not married to our work actually, but what is important is relationship. Not money.
I would come to think that there should be a balance in one's life, for example, to spend time with family members, friends and work collegues. Honestly, this should be the way.
I have just attended a will workshop and taught us the concept of writing a will. This made me to think about my responsibilities as a son, husband, father and friend. Just imagine what if one day, you are gone from the world... how are your assets/expenses going to be divided? Have you actually provided for your family a reserve of funds to use in place of your non-existence or provided a list of expenses unpaid for and let your family members solve it for you.
Of course, we all do not accept the latter. But how many of us actually have written a will for yourself? This is certainly very important and be it you are single/married/divorced, it is one's responsibility to draft a will, no matter how big or small your assets are. For example, your pet dog will be taken care by who and the amount left for him is $20,000. I'm not joking but this is actually a will written by a singlehood lady who has 2 pet dogs! Ha.
Having insurance is one important part to cover the expenses. However, the amount of outstanding loans one have could be covered solely by the insurance portion, leaving none of the estate left for the family members. This scenario is unwanted, but it is very common in today's world. So it's really my sole job not to allow this happen to my friends and clients... So now, I'm actually providing this service out to my clients...
