Yesterday something happened to me for the first time...

I went to my client's place at Choa Chu Kang Condo... and while taking the lift, the lift door closed.... and guess what??


BLACKOUT!


Can you believe it??

My client and I were stuck in the lift for over 40 minutes before the lift operator came and rescue us. And I tell you.. its so warm inside and the ventilation is very bad.... I can imagine how serious the situation will be if a pregnant lady were to be inside the lift! And for the lift contractor, they reach so late...

In fact, in HDB, they have a ruling that for lift rescue, the lift maintenance company are to reach within 30 minutes. Otherwise, the maintenance company have to pay a fine to HDB. I believe that HDB pay them to keep watch at all times.

However,this time is different.... it is the private management for the Condo. I'm not naming the condo because it may be bad for its image. Ha... The husband was kinda pissed about the delay. I, being the humble one, can only recommend them that they should do something since they have paid over $200 per month on the maintenance fee for the Condo. Wow....


Well well, a super warm day and stuck in the superwarm lift... how cool is that!

Cycling across Park Connector

Cycling has never been so exciting, and to see the children enjoying and exploring the new places, it's truly rewarding.  On Wednesday morning, our family with Josh's friend met to venture the Kallang Park Connector!  All geared up with scooters and bicycles!  We were thankful that the weather was fine and windy too!  Personally speaking,  I really love this bridge! The children were exhilarated when they reached it! Unblocked view 360 degrees!  Thanks to Kelly for the family photo. Initially, I intended to jog throughout the Park Connector. Instead, I rented the Ofo bike. I'm really thankful to find one at a nearby block.  We reached Potong Pasir, and it was well built with new bridges and greens. The Kallang River was clean, rubbish free!  We spotted many patches of plants mixed with lalang, cow grass, creeper plants and morning glory. We tried to find grasshoppers. Instead, we spotted butterflies, carpenter bees, Sting bug, water hens and their chicks, herons and egrets!

Baby 3 Part Two

Wow! Our new born is one day old already! :) I'm really very thankful for all the 200 over congratulations and well wishes from FaceBook as well as the fruit baskets from fellow friends and colleagues!  Baby Hoe on 9th July 2013 Josh and Eve and Baby early morning before Josh goes to school Aren't they loving? Happy grandfather with the three grandchildren. I honestly find that when we grow old, the success-o-meter is being a grandparent. And being able to see your grandchildren! It's certainly priceless. Me and my three children. Kate followed me to squat! So funny. Picture of Eve before birth. She sat on the couch. Then, when contractions came, she will get up and I will support her. National Day 2006

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY Singapore! I was at the Parade performing yesterday and I tell you, the spirit was there and the fireworks are definitely the highlight of the whole event. Boom, boom, boom was the sound that you hear from the sky and great colours filled around the stadium as the fireworks exploded! WOO! Love it man. Somemore, I met my friends like Iris, Lijie and Crystal who came down for the event. WOOHOO! Took pictures and I am really glad to see them as I find that for the performance, they came down to support me. Ha... that's my way of thinking la. But come to think of it, its true right? They came all the way down to watch the NDP and watched my event. Which is in a way, supporting me. Yeah. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the way to the Stadium, I saw a group of people lining up and they were actually providing a service to paint 'Singapore Flag' on the faces of the audiences.
