Gardens by the Bay - Children's Garden

It's really amazing that Gardens by the Bay has recently opened up a play area for children. Thank God that I am blessed with children so that my family members are able to make our trip there.

How to go there...
1. By Car - Park at the Satay by the Bay Carpark.
2. By Train - Take to Bayfront MRT, Exit B.

We didn't drive, hence we decided to take public transport there!

Both my children were so excited when they heard about the water play and Josh donned his swimming costume top, and Kate wore hers inside!

Josh loves to observe the tunnels and he also remembers the flow of the stations!

We took the Circle Line to Bayfront MRT and we excitedly walked our path along the link way towards Gardens by the Bay.

Look at the beautiful shapes and colours!

There are so many art works along the link way! When we came out of Exit B, we saw the Marina Bay Sands just behind us! It's so majestic and I even managed to get Josh to point up to the sky for the photo shoot! This picture is just so epic. He even recalled us counting the exact number of floors of Marina Bay Sands!

We saw the scenery and it's really very beautiful. I managed to get Kate to have a hug picture with Josh. Ain't they loving? We actually walked about 15 minutes before we reached the Children's Garden. Luckily my children were patient enough to walk through the distance!

Isn't it beautiful sight?

Along the way, we saw a few exotic flowers and the children were interested to know too.

I realized that now my children knows how to pose on the camera! In this picture, I told Kate to point to the flowers and not move for awhile! So funny right?

Josh posing too..

There are just so many species of flowers that after a while, you didn't bother to take more pictures anymore. And the evening sun was quite scorching. Hence, we just headed towards the Children's Garden under Far East Organization.

Children's Garden

There were so many people present in the place and I only have myself as the adult and my two children. Hence, I placed my stuff in the locker, and please bring $1 coin! I actually asked for so many people for change of money, but they do not have enough spare coins with them.

Picture of me throwing Kate! She loves it so much!

The water play area has so many shower heads spinning around, and it felt as if it's raining! Both Josh and Kate didn't really like the spraying feeling and was at the dry area for quite awhile. I slowly carried them to explore the area, to help them to gain confidence. Probably, this water play area is suitable for older kids like 5 onwards.

At the background has the sprays and water features!

Luckily, my Father in law came with Eve and mother in law. And he helped us to take the photo shoots! So thankful and I feel that one should engage him for his services because he can really produce great pictures and rest assured that pictures will always be in your memory bank always! You can feel free to email him at siakgoon@yahoo.com.sg for his quote.

Group picture of the cousins!

Eve's cousins came along and all of us had a great time there too! One should also bring goggles because I felt that the chlorinated water made my eyes quite dry though. Luckily we were there for awhile only.

The shower area only have for kids! So adults, just bring along dry clothes for yourself and go back home to shower!

Playground

The playground consists of creative stations! They are child friendly and colourful too!

The playground has new designs and Kate even excitedly tried out the horse-like seats, slides and balancing beams! She literally let her hair down together with her cousins!

Happy Kate enjoying the slides!

Josh was already fast asleep as he woke up early that morning and Kate just happily posed while playing the playground.

Eve and Kate! Ain't they lovely?

While Kate was happily playing and Josh is happily sleeping, we just took a family of 3 picture!

Gwen attempting to sit on the horse ride

Picture of us with Gwen! She is also very happy to be outside the house! Honestly, this place is great as the air is fresh and you just feel young to be in this place!

Walking back towards the MRT

Singapore certainly has it's scenic views and the trees are such a blend with the human landscape!

Along this path, there are so many runners and you just feel like going the gang to jog! The air is really very fresh and you feel motivated to just jog. Oh well, probably next time both of us will attempt to jog along this area! We even met our church friend jogging too! Such a small world indeed.

Picture of us at the fossil station

These fossils are really amazing! The artists are able to make them into chop these fossil trees, smoothen the surface and made into seats.

Finale picture before we left Gardens by the Bay

We took a final group picture before we left. And it's really a fun gathering we had even though it's only for a short 90 minutes! Love the weather too.

My in-laws. And my father in law (left) is the professional photographer to help us to take the pictures!

Do note that for Gardens by the Bay, they are closed every Monday! You may wish to check out their corporate website for more information www.gardensbythebay.com.sg on the opening days.
