Horse Riding at Punggol

On 4th October 2014, we headed to Punggol End to view the Punggol Pier! It's really an exciting journey there because we just want a place to see nature, sea and people fishing! We took Circle Line from Bishan to Serangoon, and changed to the North-East Line to Punggol Terminal. And we took bus 84. After 6 stops, we are there at the Punggol End!

Picture of Kate and I awaiting for Eve and Josh.
We didn't go to the Punggol Pier. Instead, we decided to take a look at the Gallop Stable @ Punggol Ranch.

We were at the waiting area for pony ride!

Look at this stairs! It's the place where we mount onto the pony or horse.

Yes! The horse stable! Beautiful right? The horse is licking something. Not sure what is it.

Guess what are they? They are chalets!! I was so shocked that people checked into these chalets. Cool right?

Look at this cute pony!

We decided to take a try on the horse ride! We paid $10 for a round trip, and it's really quite an exciting experience!! I decided to try because Eve wore a dress.

I'm mounting onto the horse! He's really patient!

Oh. The horse trainer is guiding me that I should sit upright, and follow the movement of the horse when I am sitting. If I'm feeling comfortable, the horse will also find it comfortable.

Eve and Josh followed me during this path ride, and apparently this horse kept looking at Josh. And according to the trainer, probably the horse loves children. It didn't manage to take children as the customers because of it's size, usually adults. Children will choose ponies instead. So true!

Kate decided to try on the pony ride after looking at how fun my ride was!

Kate's epic look! She's so brave!

She confidently mount onto the pony, and they are adjusting the length of the saddle for her.

She wanted me to follow her throughout the pony ride. Look at this pony's teeth. It kept grinding throughout the ride.

Kate kept insisting me to follow her closely! She refused to smile a single bit!
Overall, it's really amazing to find a horse ranch at Punggol! And apparently quite a few parents bring their children for horse riding courses! We managed to talk to a couple and they let her 3 year old son attend the horse riding course since he was 2 and a half! Now he is entering his 12th lesson! Totally amazing. Horses are really smart animals. One need to have the patience to groom them and takes time to have relationship with them, vice versa.
