Cardboards. Didn't know they can be so useful!

Yes! Recently we made Josh's performance props. And we were one day late in the submission for it! Oops. And we made use of cardboards. Didn't know they are so useful for art and craft.

Josh chose purple for the colour of the snake. And for the patterns on the snake, we asked him whether he prefer dots or stripes. He chose tripes and began to draw stripes on the purple snake! We added some stripes at the corners of the snake to make it nicer. And he pasted the eyes, which was originally meant for the Lego toys. Nice art piece right?

T for tree. And I'm so amazed that Josh is able to colour well for the leaves. And for the tree trunk, he chose a mixture of light brown and pink. And he drew the smile on the tree too! So proud of him. The eyes are a little out of place, but it's ok. It's a child's art, isn't it.

I'm really amazed that both my children love painting so much. Kate coloured this special dark apple. And it turned out to be very nice too. Josh was painting. She, too, wants to join in the fun and we cut out an apple shape for her to colour. So happy that she too enjoyed the coloring and pasting of the eyes!

My father in law came for dinner and also assisted in the drawing of the art piece.

Look at how attentive Josh is!

My cute Kate insisted in using the black poster paint. That resulted in the black apple. Initially, she used beige for the apple, but the black colour masks it. And she also painted her nail black, and she loves it so much. Lol.

Art and craft is such a fun process and I feel as if I'm a kid again to play and get my hands dirty with the paint once again. It's such a wonder that as a kid, we are asked to be mature young adults. And when we grow old with children, we are to be as kids once again. Such a true irony!
