Sentosa Trip with Children

Journey

Honestly, it's been awhile since we have brought Josh and Kate to Sentosa. The previous few times, it's Eve who brought them to the Siloso Beach by herself! Proud of her because she was able to plan well, the sufficient logistics carried to the place. All of us came back with additional happiness in our faces!

It was great weather today! Like usual, we took public transport to Sentosa. Josh wanted to take NEL. Hence we took the extra step from Circle Line to NEL, straight to Harbourfront MRT.

When we reached Beach Station, both of the children clapped their hands because they are so delighted and excited to reach! We, too also felt the same way too!

Luge and Skyride

It's the first time we sat the Luge together! We took the courage to take the Skyride up to the Luge station. Boy, I tell you, every time I reach the connecting towers of the Skyride, I would have additional perspiration on my slippers! It's really hair-standing experience, but Josh and Kate felt normal. Probably they are much braver than us!

Eve and the 2 children before going up the Skyride!

Terrified looks?! Ha.. I was so afraid my iPhone will drop after taking this selfie!

After the Skyride, we queued up for the Luge. Note that there are mosquitoes! So we quickly took out the insect repellent and sprayed our legs and hands! Kate got bitten! Didn't manage to catch that evil mosquito!

Me with Kate! Her helmet was too large for her! Luckily, the staff gave her a kid's size.

There are two journeys that you can take. The Jungle Trail or the Dragon Trail. We chose the Jungle Trail! So fun!! Too bad can't take pictures!

Well, we managed to have a quick shot on the monitor screen!
Luge experience was awesome! It's kinda pricey (total cost for us is $32) for the Chairlift and the Luge ride down. After the Luge, we felt we are very good drivers, maneuvering left and right, slowing and speeding down the curves!

They are actually very strict on the photo-taking though. No photo-taking when they teaching us how to use the Luge. I even asked if he can take a family picture, and he pointed to the signboard. It wrote "NO PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED". Wow right?

Even when I reached the base of the Luge first, I was waiting to take photo for Eve and Josh. The staff told me not to use my camera phone while waiting! Can't believe it...

Siloso Beach

The Management has certainly changed the outlook of Siloso Beach, cornering the beach spaces, and leaving few shady places for visitors to sit on the beaches. Luckily, we managed to find a space, just beside the cordoned area, and set up our picnic area.

The children had their very bit of fun in the sand. Just love the free play they are having. Eve bought delicious salmon sushi and maki! Yum!

Josh burying Kate's legs! So cute right?

Kate and I went to collect some sea water for their sand castle

Boardwalk Fountain

After playing the sand, we headed to a fountain area. Apparently, there is this "boardwalk fountain area" located further up of Siloso Beach, which is a hot favourite for Josh and Kate! There are no children there and the flow of water is continuous! They practically had their own joy and fun, playing with the sprays! Selling their own 'drinks'! Fun playing!

Josh happily scooping up the water!

Kate selling her soya bean milk to me!

Managed to catch Kate jumping up!

What's in that hole? It's actually just the lights!

Boardwalk Fountain Fun!
Sentosa's always fun for us and the children!

Like I always say... We would come here more often!! Ha!
