Amazing

What can I say?

God is very amazing to us! On 1st of August, Eve's friend, Weirong messaged her saying that she has 4 NDP rehearsal tickets to give away! We immediately said 'YES'!

Woohoo! And the tickets are at the prime seat area. Of course we thanked her so much! In the end, it was Eve's mum, her aunt Leana, Josh and Kate who went there. I had roadshow that day hence, I cannot make it.

On that very day, there were all so excited! Seeing the army troops, merlion, singing the Singapore National Day songs! They simply enjoyed themselves! The weather was very, very fine, and luckily they reached there about 4.20pm as the seats are quickly filled up by 4.45pm! Kate was given a limited edition 49th NDP Birthday Bear! Simply amazing! To think of it, I feel both Josh and Kate were very lucky children as they managed to experience NDP at such a young age! When they sang the songs, they would move their hands left and right! So happy to hear that!

They returned home quite late though, about 9.40pm. Apparently a lot of areas were gazetted and blocked. Hence the 4 of them have to make a big round to Raffles Place MRT. The City Hall exit was closed. I hope next week, when we are going back, we will take the Helix Bridge path towards Bayfront MRT. Excited!

The week before, we went to the Fullerton Hotel area to get to see a glimpse of the fireworks! At the time of 8.15pm, the fireworks came up! We were so amazed that they are so near to us! The mixture of so many colours (green, blue, gold, red, pink, yellow, purple...) We even got them to shout at the colours when the fireworks are in the sky! Gwen was fine for the first two minutes, later she cried because of the loud bangs and bright lights. Luckily for us, after the 10 minute fireworks show, we didn't manage to squeeze with the NDP crowd as Fullerton Hotel is very near to Raffles Place MRT. We hopped on and got back home in no time! 

Yes we all love to catch fireworks! Love it so much that practically every Saturday, we will hop down to the Fullerton area to watch! Every time, it is a 'WOW' feeling and it just makes me recall the times when only both Eve and I were together! Catching the fireworks and eating Carrefour Honey glazed chicken along Esplanade area. It's definitely in our DNA as both Josh and Kate love to catch fireworks too! :)
