Bali Trip in March 2015 (Part 2)

The Mulia's Buggy car is very efficient and they brought us to every part of this huge hotel resort! Love these buggy car rides!

Eve and Gwen on the buggy car
We went to another Balinese house. This time, they have their very own poultry farm and also a well!
This well is really deep! They get the water for bathing, drinking, cooking etc.

These birds are caged up

Gwen's so amazed by these kampong chickens!

They are beautiful!

We spotted porcupines too! It's the first time Gwen is seeing them.
After that, we went to a padi field. There are so many padi fields everywhere in Bali! Beautiful country!
Look at the greens!

A little post marriage photograph.

Gwen being thrown up! Beautiful, isn't?

We engaged Wayan, our Bali driver. You can find him at www.debersbalitour.com
The restaurants here generally serve great food! We hop by a Chinese restaurant.

Their orange juice is excellent!

Balinese women spotted carrying huge baskets on their heads! What a great balancing skill they have!
Wayan brought us to a fruit farm. And they have so many tropical fruits! Eve and Gwen stayed in the car because Gwen was asleep due to the long day of travelling.
Papaya tree!

Passionfruit

Mangosteen

Durian! My favourite!

Beautiful Pineapple hiding in its nest.

You guess what is this?! It's the Kopi Luwak.

And it's from this cat's droppings!

These are raw coffee beans! So small right?

This amazing flower belongs to passion fruit! It's really amazing to spot this!

They pound the roasted coffee beans.

And they sift the coffee beans into even finer powder

Look at these 16 different shots of drinks! They are all free!

I drank all of them! Ha. They tasted so delicious! Yum!
Balinese children are so carefree! They roam around freely and we managed to take a few photos with them. We also treated them an ice cream under the hot sun!
They also have three children

Took a quick picture with the ice cream man!

All of them have great skin complexion!

We took a group picture on top of a rice padi field!

We even spotted a family walking through the bunds!

Daring Gwen standing near the edge!

We bought a beautiful $1 dress for Gwen! Ain't she look like a local kid there? Ha!
This Bali trip is certainly an eye opener for us. They are environmentally friendly and the usage of plastic bags is very minimal. Most of the things you purchase are natural and organic.

We bought grated corn and brown rice back. They tasted so delicious. And to think that we should have bought more then. And their local durian is so yum! Josh and Kate will certainly love it. We will definitely come back again as the northern part of Bali has more interesting places to visit such as dolphin watching, catching the sun set, climbing to a Mountain for sight seeing.

We are also lucky to have Wayan to be our guide there at Bali. Apparently many Singaporeans come and engage him. Many of Singaporeans come to Bali to buy house decorations or bulk purchase and sell in local stores! Beautiful Bali!
