Spending Time

I cannot stress more importance in spending time with children and wife and it's really REALLY important. The children just grow up so fast and as a couple, we should also spend time together too! I have came across stories of parents just saw their children only in the weekends, and hardly had the time to spend time with them due to shift work. Hence, no matter what, once you have the time, just put aside your gadgets, and spend time with the living beings beside you!

An account with children
This morning, I brought my three children down to playground while Eve prepares the lunch for school. And we had so much fun and had so much mutual verbal conversations too. And you can see how excited the children are they see Gwen lying on the slide. I am also amazed that Gwen loves to lie on her stomach on the playground slide!

And today, Josh and Kate shared their tricycle willingly and they actually asked each other whether it's their turn to take the ride. It's just so amazing.

The wind was very strong today, hence blowing all the dried leaves from the trees. We picked up and made it into a game! A throwing game! Both Josh and Kate had so much fun counting the leaves, picking and throwing on the ground. The wind was so strong that leaves just kept being swept away and being replenished with fresh ones from the trees! Josh even placed a leaf into his crocs shoes and said it's a cushion. However after I asked him whether is it comfortable, he jokingly answered that it is not comfortable at all! It's an experiment he tried on his own!

At the next playground, we were playing and an uncle came up to me and said, "You have three children?" I said Yes. And he gave a thumbs up and walked away. It's just so comical. Then Eve came to my rescue after she had finished preparing the lunch for their school.

Our short date
In the afternoon, both Eve and I decided to go for a swim and it's been quite awhile since we have gone swimming alone, just the both of us! As we were hungry, we shared a plate of nasi lemak as we didn't want to eat too much before the swim. It's so nice to enjoy a meal together without any children! Ha! Hands free.

For the swim, it's just so refreshing and fun! The wind was so strong that it made the waters chilly even the sun was shining brightly! Swam about 10 laps and we find that we should do this more often since now Josh and Kate are in school and our MIL can handle Gwen for about one and a half hours. This little break can serve as quality time and exercising too!

Time waits for no one and when we have gathered is that what remains on earth is love. When one passes on, it's the love that one remembers. And hence, we should spend time with your loved ones and really love them. It's a two way communication and even your honest children will feel it. Spread the love while you can now. It's very important :)

Gwen's appetite has increased so much and I'm just so happy to know that she enjoys the steamed and blended food that we prepared for her! :)
