Nowadays, when you have children, the topics conversed as well as activities revolving house visitation with relatives are kids, kids, kids... You play with kids, you eat with kids and you sit with kids. 24/7!
It's fun and it's actually much easier when you have other kids with you because they will play with one another. And we leverage on it! Yes, we will need to supervise as well as see what other kids are playing! But I can see that Josh and Kate really enjoys playing with children slightly older than them! Best of all, they can learn from one another and SHARE!
We went to Eve's aunt's place at Castle Green on second day of CNY and we enjoyed ourselves! Before that, I cooked about 50 pieces of nian gao! Who will ever done that!! Record breaking for myself and I'm glad that people love it! It's actually a pot-luck session and we brought nian gao, fruits and salad.
Pot-luck is a fun way for gathering as we get to taste different people's cooking and also there is a voting at the end of it! All of us vote two of their most favorite dishes and I gotten consolation prize out of the 12 dishes! The funny thing is that white rice got to the top three ranking! Can you believe it!!

There was such a wide variety of food and at the end of the day, everyone was so full from the food! It's actually much better than catering and buffet as they add a substantial amount of MSG, which is bad for all of us.
Activities

We did swimming, badminton, tennis, table tennis, playing at playground and we were all so happy with it. Living in a condo is good in the sense that there are facilities which you can utilize as well as function rooms to book too. Of course nothing comes for free as you have to pay for the maintenance fee for it. Probably in the future, we will own one condo that has a very good location? :) and yes, accumulate more money first.

This is certainly a great time bonding amongst all the relatives and also the children. And it takes everyone's effort to make this event worthwhile. What a great way to start the Chinese New Year!
