Dad and Play

Playtime
It's real fun when you play with your children outdoors and you will join in too! And now when I take pictures of them, Josh will say, "Daddy, take picture!" How interesting and they will pose too!

Playtime with them is very important, and like my past post, I will spend about 30 minutes with them everyday. After a while, they will know the trend. That is: to go home to rest for 10 minutes, head to bathe, and head to school already. And my job is done till 12pm. After that, I can work already.

Now, their motor skills with their tricycle is very good! And Josh is able to manoeuvre very well in turns as well as stopping too! So proud of my two children!

Swimming
Today, we went to swim in the evening at Castle Green. The weather's very good and thank God for it. And this time, we bought dinner to the place, and luckily we did that! After the swim, all of us were very hungry and we ate all of them. Eve brought the home made soup we did for lunch. And no food was wasted! Really very happy!

Now, Josh and Kate kicks more in the water and they are much more confident with the water already. It's really good to know. Think after the Tioman trip, the salt water has expanded my swimming trunks! The rubber seemed to have loosened. Think it's time to change to a new one.

And yes, after the swim, Josh slept on the way back. Swimming drains their energy and it's good because we have more free time to ourselves at night! HA!

Picture of us before going to swim! Love the sun rays! They are both so excited when we mentioned to them about swimming and they quickly changed to their swimming costumes!

Chinese Opera
Last night, after we visited my parents, on the way back, we spotted a Chinese Opera at the field near our place. We went there and was pondering whether is the performance for humans or the other beings. There are no one there and the acting crew are so immersed in their acting. Every action they do, they will be a 'gong' sound or drumming sounds! So comical.

Both Josh and Kate loved the performance as they had their eyes glued in the performance. Kate laughed when she saw us laughed because the actor and actress had a quarrel scene, and it's really so comical. Josh loved the drumming sounds as well as the wooden knocking sounds too.

I just find that this is becoming a lost art in Singapore. Still can remember in the past, our parent's era will crowd around these performances and enjoy! Now, not many people appreciates! After we stood there, two other spectators came too.

The stage light was so bright that it caused us to be black!

Honestly, I'm really glad that I'm able to spend time with my children and be part of their growing years. And this is what keeps me motivated to work hard in my work. And most importantly, I will want to have a close knitted family. It really leverages a lot for each and every one of us. It involves time and effort. And we have just got to prioritise our work schedules!
