Hort Park visit before the Haze

Well, before the haze, we went to Hort Park and it was Gardening Day! It was so fun and all of us managed to reach there at 9am, a feat because the children slept late the night before.

There are booths of exotic plants and they even gave out organic fertilizers! And there are fruit plants and I taught Josh some of them. We also spotted fig plants! They are so beautiful.

We brought Eve's mother and auntie along and it's certainly great mix of fun together with the children too. Weather was fine and the air was fresh. When I look at these pictures, I'm really amazed of how clean and clear our air was in Singapore! Something that we took granted of.

These creepy crawlers were all around the grounds of Hort Park, just like in Botanic Gardens. Josh and Kate just kept pointing while walking on the pathway. Josh kept wanting Kate to touch them, so funny can?

The plant architecture is beautiful and for this picture, Josh didn't want to take with us. But it's ok, it's nice right?

We managed to have some great photo shoots by my father-in-law's camera. There happened to have a professional shoot for a couple's pet rabbit, and we are so amazed by it! And they gave us these sunflowers!

Hort Park really has well-maintained green fields and throwing the children up in the sky is just so freestyle. Love the landscape and the workers definitely have done a great job in maintaining the whole place.

Kate loves to be thrown up again and again. Luckily I'm able to balance well and catch them! Looks easy right? I was perspiring in the middle of this afternoon shoot! I love these pictures so much!

There is a pond whereby we can purchase fish food at the taxi stand area. It cost $1 per capsule but it brought priceless happiness to our children! I guess the fish are quite sick of the food, because some of them didn't want to eat them at all! Anyway, some gulped them hungrily! We bought two capsules and they didn't actually want to go home!

We took a couple picture and Eve said that the three sunflowers seem to represent the three children we have.

Well, love the air and the greens! And Hort Park is certainly a great place to hang out, but remember to bring some healthy snacks there as we managed to eat all the food we brought there. And also the water bottles were emptied too!
