JamX. End to an end. Finally it's over, with 6mths preparation. I shall end by saying it's an experience NEVER to forget. NEVER! I kinda feel that I am getting no where. Feeling bad now.
I am a Science student and this feeling came back to me again. When I did the experiment today, I wonder, why am I doing this? When attending lecture, I was quite confused with the explanation. I really find it quite hard to picture myself doing these after I graduate. It's quite sick to see the theoretical stuff. Can't believe it that I manage to pull myself for the previous semester. ARGH! I have been wanting to tell people about how I feel, but feel that somethings are best kept for myself. I know those who are reading my blog may be disagreeing my point of view. I don't really care, but I'll listen. I seriously feel that I may not be happy with the course that I'm taking. Initially, I don't mind taking up Material Science initially. However, now, I feel quite out-of-place. Am I really doing what I want?! Everyday, I have been thinking about my own business idea and it's really exciting to be in it. Simply to put it, I feel that I learn ...
Woa!! I can't believe it! I am happy for myself because I have taken the right path. Right path as in I decided which lecture to forgo and go to another one instead. All these is because of one tutorial which made me have to change my Tuesday's timetable. Ha! Anyway, went to the first ever that I meet the children at the Clementi SCS. They are very hyper and very interesting. Feel that all of them have a history that is unique to everyone and want to dig them out. We played games and it's quite fun and gaoxiao. A few of us are allocated with a child each. For me, I didn't have. Maybe after mid Feb, I'll be going to have a child allocated to me! :) When I reached home, I was very tired already. And was lucky to wake up juz in time when the train stopped at SENGKANG.
SICK! Can't believe it! Last night, straight after I changed my hamster cages, I began to have flu and started coughing. Then, mucus start to flow and the worse is yet to come. I coughed and started to heave louder and louder... it's like I have breathing difficulty and can even hear the sound of my lungs! Can't believe it. At night, I didn't sleep well. Toss and turn until about 5am!! Can u believe it? And my friend, Clarence, smsed me at 5.14am. I thought who knows I'm still awake! Ha!! At about 6plus, I began to sleep throughout till 12noon. I didn't go to Grant A Wish Delivery nor the JAMX Old Clothes Collection. Didn't feel too well. Guess that I need to take in more Vitamin C already. THOUGHT OF THE DAY I actually met up with my friend Leonard and he's very inspirational. He has gone through alot in his life and through his business, he has undergone lots of rejections. Despite that, he still carries on and on, very d...
Saturday! Gosh... Time really pass so fast and it's going to be the third week of the study term already. I somewhat feel that I have quite a number of projects to be settled by Jan!! One is JAMX and the other Grant A Wish. Tomorrow, I am going to send the gifts, together with my friends, to 2 beneficaries. Namely, PPIS Jurong and HELP FSC. Isn't that good? Which leaves me to 2 more beneficaries left. I have been staying at home for the past few days and feel that mum has been talking alot! Even when I sleeping!! It has been 2 days already and that very morning, she'll bombard me with information, telling me to do this and that when I was sleeping because she is feeling anxious and wanted to leave home already. It somewhat disrupted my sleep and I told her that today... Luckily I did that... otherwise, she'll carry on doing it! Ha!! Anyway, yesterday, had mutton soup and it's delicious. Didn't prepare it.. it's my Dad. :) He...

Yesterday was one of the most tiring. Had 2 lectures but it was very shiong for me because in between, I went out to buy stuff from my own website. Ha! Anyway, back to the lectures, it's quite fun and taxing. For my geography module, we are talking about maps and the previous lecture, we are told to draw the map of Singapore, according to your own Geographic Imagination. I drew and the lecturer showed some of our works. And mine was up! Can't believe it. All of us didnt write our names and he named me 'ZOUK Kid' because I drew the word ZOUK on the map! Ha!! :) Straight after my lecture, I went back to clubroom, hoping that the birthday celebration was still carrying on. But when I reached, it's over already. And feel like leaving because the rest of the members are at the canteen. Then, I left... Anyway, I reached home at 7.45pm, close to 8 and suppose to meet Zhiwei and Felix at 9pm! I quickly ate and bathed and dashed down to Orchard. TEAS...
JB Dinner on Wednesday Well, straight after buying presents for Xiaoyun and Kenneth, I went to Kranji and met my friends to go to Johor to have seafood dinner. TOok bus and walked along the causeway coz there's jam. It seems to me that we are back in india, beating the traffic again. The scenery from Singapore overseeing the Johore landscape is certainly very nice and calm. The backdrop against the sea is very nice. Even tried to take photo with my handphone, but it's quite blurred. We reached the hawker centre and ordered these food: 1. Chilly Crabs (KING) 2. Shellfish fried with oats 3. Lala 4. Stingray 5. Mutton Soup 6. Char Kway Teow 7. Prawn Noodles 8. Wanton Noodles 9. Potato Leaves with Sambal 10. Fried Oyster with Egg 11. Chee Cheong Fun 12. Sugar Cane Drink We are really very full after the whole trip! Can't believe it! Felt pregnant! Then bought some kway and mangoes and left! The people selling mangoes are very generous. Ma...
Well, today it's Tuesday. I have been printing my notes from school and it cost me quite alot. Think that I should install my printer back at my home... it's more economical, i guess. Anyway, I have been dozing off these few days during lecture. I find that my attention span it's around one hour the max. And coming to an hour and a half, I'll tend to doze off!! Serious man.. really drift! Gotta buy sweets to perk me up already! Can't believe it! Feel that everyday, it's like learning journey... Have to attend lectures and actually feel happy when I see my friends, be it at lectures, bus, or even at the clubroom. Gotta feel that it's lucky to know them because it really makes me feel that there is more than studies in school! :) Reached home after my Clementi Student Care Service meeting... Quite tired but it's alright... :) Mervyn Spears
It's been so long eversince I have written this blog...well, here it is... For this weekend, I have been busy with JAMX Prelims! And I have been standing on my feet from 12pm to 9pm! Can't believe it!! The experience that I had throughout these days were awesome. Learnt about rock band equipment, and how the competition goes. It's real good feeling to have crowd coming it as the day gets darker and had their support. Also, the weather has been working hand in hand with us, providing sun (for tanning) and wind (for cooling). Isn't that great!? Yar! I am happy that I have joined JAMX. :) Anyway, went to Boom Boom Room yesterday with Hisham, Ray and Jingyun, straight from JAMX. I was dead tired by then, but because it's the last performance, we all decided to go there early. The whole place was very crowded. The night was very comical, with Kumar and Gang cross dressing and cracking jokes. There are some instances whereby it's not s...
Morning: Swim, not bad experience. SUn's good. Afternoon: Head to school Seminar: Attended Shisedo talk with freebies. Dinner: Nasi Briyani and meeting for JAMX Concert: Guitar Concert at LT13. Siyang's performance. Very nice. Kinda feel that life is full of entertainment. There are lots of things for us. And it's up to us whether we want to do it or not. For Siyang, I feel that he has matured quite alot eversince his secondary school days. When I saw him at the stage, I'm real proud of him as I feel that it's his dream to go on stage and perform! I was real excited when he was one of the quintet to play a song! It's terrific. He also tried to smile throughout the performance, which many didn't. When the concert ended, I felt quite funny because Shaun didn't even say Goodbye to me. I mean it's like I'm just sitting in front of him, and not because he got his friends, he cannot say it right? I mean, it's so st...

Jiakai, my friend who is soon leaving Singapore for Sweden. Look at the empty bowl of Laksa!! YummY!
Today is the day for most delicacies! Why? At my Club's Volunteer Appreciation Tea today, we had lots of pasta, pizza and potato wedges. For dinner, went out with my bunch of friends to Holland Village to have dinner at Coffee Club Xpress. Later, we even hopped down to have Katong Laksa. It's simply delicious! Ha!! I was actually feeling very tired after the VAT, however, because my friend is leaving Singapore for Sweden, I decided to celebrate together with my friends too! :) Didn't expect that we can all chat quite alot though! The Volunteer Appreciation Tea was a success, with Chloe and KokLeong as the host. Kenneth and I were the Dj for the whole place and it's an experience to work with him. The adjustments of the music and the mic was of pure estimation and had fun controlling and balancing the two of them. Ha!! We had a lucky draw, hoping to win, but didn't get anything! Ha!! I'm really glad that quite a few people turned up and it's certa...

ZOUK no more!!

Well, I actually went for a timsum buffet in the morning yesterday and it's really a good deal. A total of around 17 of us went for the outing, including Yiwen. And we actually felt very very full after the whole brunch! Gosh!! The place I went was Dragon restaurant at Harbourfront center. The buffet ends at 2.30pm so go there around 11plus will be fine! Then, I met Hisham and Ray for high tea at Orchard Road. This is actually the first time that we have actually spent so much time together... from afternoon to wee hours at night. We went to NYDC outside HMV and it's not bad. I can't believe that the 3 of us spent around $45 on 5 items only! Gosh! Felt quite guilty because I didnt pay a single cent at all! Gotta pay Ray soon! Later went to DFS Galleria to purchase Bailey's Cream. Even though they give the price which is out of tax, you will only be entertained with this offer if you show ur passport! Which means, it's only for tourists in Singapore! T...

It's been so long!!

Hey!! It's really been so long eversince I have written on this blog as I have actually occupied myself with lotsa stuff!!! All thanks to Yiwen, now my blog is given a fresh look! Yeah!!! Now, I shall tell you what I have actually done for the past few days!! During New Year's Eve, I actually went to Ray's house and had BBQ with my army friends and it's really a fun time as we got to catch up with old times. And due to the Tsunami, there is actually no live telecast of the happy occasion. Well, luckily, Ray sent me home. Ha!! Really enjoyed the food and the people!! :@) That very afternoon, I actually met up with Yiwen and we actually bought some shirts for Chinese New Year at AngMoKio. She also gave me a shirt which she bought from Thailand. It's quite cute though. And we bought durian and jumbu. Very delicious. It was Christopher's birthday on 01.01.05 and Engteck, Yingkai, Patrick, Calvin, Christopher and I actually met up for steamboat and...
