27 FEB 2007 This is the date I will always remember. The date that I joined Insurance as a career. I knew nothing about the industry and this was how I grew and learnt! Thinking back, the journey was not smooth but enjoyable. It was the rejections, countless prospecting and showing of plans that made me realise that financial planning takes more than just signing on the dotted line. Throughout these 13 years of experience, it made me realise that something didn’t change at all. People are still under insured and not knowing which are the suitable vehicles to grow their income. I am very pleased to know that the platform that I am at, gives me the flexibility to plan for my clients. In terms of fair scope of plans from various companies, my clients can choose and be well-informed on the changes of their coverage and what I can offer for them! Manulife Financial Advisers has given me a greater opportunity to manage my client’s well-diversified portfolios and it made me closer to...
Honestly, I'm really so excited!! I really hope to clear finish my current house ASAP and initially wanting to clear by Jan2014.. But I aim to clear it by Jan2013.. Or even earlier.. Woohoo. Everyday, this is the new driving force to keep me motivated in my career!! Woohoo. Seriously.. Yea. I have seen my house loan interest and that's scary. It's like every month, I'm paying $700 to the bank as interest. This is not what I want for myself. Its like throwing $700 into the drain. Imagine those who extend their house loan to 20 to 25 years.. The interest is even larger!! That's why I advice my clients to quickly pay off their house and it can be their asset fully!! And there is a certificate given to them too!! Can't wait to have mine. Woohoo!!!!!!
Well, today we enjoyed ourselves at the Zoo, and it was a late afternoon trip down. Glad that there wasn't much people because the weather was sunny and rainy at the same time. We headed to see the Polar Bear and it was so beautiful. The whole tank was large and we managed to spot the one and only Polar Bear. It was our children's first time to see this animal. And reality struck me. I took a closer look and it looked sad. I asked Eve whether how many should there be. There is only 1. It's really so sad and a boy came with his grandfather, and shockingly, he commented that the Polar Bear looked sad. Wow, I mean children don't tell lies right? Josh also felt it and he can act out the sad face. Look at it. Honestly, I feel that it should have companion at least, however I read that they lead solitary lives. And it was in the tank (with a land and water area), and weather was warm for it. The heart wrenching was when it went to another air-conditioned room. It s...
