Love Your Children Part 3

When you sow your time in your children, somehow it will reciprocate back to you. I have seen some successful families and until today, there is respect and love to the parents shown by their children.. And the love of parents to children felt by their actions. It has been present for over 28 years...

Uncle Tang
This uncle of mine is commendable. His efforts and thoughts in providing for the well-being of the household is amazing! I'm actually trying to sieve out what he has done and do it for my family.

He has a wife, four children and three grandchildren. For the past 28 years, both his wife and him have provided alot for his family and until now, he didn't demand any care from his children. However, automatically, there is filial piety from his children!

Picture of me and my children at Mount Vernon Columbarium.

He has done these for the past years as a father:
- wake up 5am to prepare porridge, simple dishes for breakfast.
- go to marketing in the morning and think of what to cook for the whole family. Now he delegates the food preparation to the domestic helper.
- chauffeurs his children to and fro to schools, appointments and classes.
- takes care of the grandchildren!
- loves his wife very much.
- provides a large house to contain their growing family.
- gives advice to their children in financial planning.
- provides listening ear to the children when they are down and encourage them.
- encourages their children to own property and help them to source for good locations.

To some ladies: A PERFECT HUSBAND!!! I WANT!!
To current husbands: SURE OR NOT!!

I feel that it's what a model father should be. He did not need to be a perfect person. However, he chose to provide the best and wants to help them. And all these are from the heart and the actions he has done not only touched his children, it touched me!

He can actually choose not to prepare healthy breakfast in the morning. He can choose not to go marketing. All these 'small' and consistent actions may be taken for granted. However, it's the willingness to provide for the family is really respected!

Both are so amazed by the burning of the incense.

Work
He used to be a regular in the Army and yet he manages to do the breakfast and marketing for so many years! Who will want to do it! Somemore it is consistent!

I can't wake up that early. However, both Eve and I will plan the meals and decide the ingredients required. We will go marketing once every two to three days.

Breakfast as porridge. It's like those taiwan porridge. I have never done before. It's worth a try. It's actually nice to have something warm for breakfast!

Four children
He has four loving children. All are very successful in terms of career and studies. I asked him what did you inspire them? I also asked Auntie.

What they replied is they let them to do what they like and they encourage them to pursue what they love! It's really very amazing and their efforts as parents are paid off!

Every year, their children will sponsor them to trips at least four times a year! And they went to so many places together! This is what a family should be like!

And they even have a whatsapp group for their family members! So nice right?

Wife
You can see that he is loving to his wife and he takes good care of her. She has been a housewife all these years as a mother and grandmother. And I feel that he sees the hardwork she has put in. Hence, he wants to contribute all these years!

It's not easy as the sole breadwinner. However, I feel that his efforts are paid off and he is the winner of all! :)

Good to learn from him..
My role model..

Both of them sharing the chocolate Goat's milk!

Recently, I have read an article that we ought to have a whole vision on what you want in life. E.g have the image of four children and their children too! This is the image I have in my head, in our heads! This will enable the family to have a goal, and it is something everyone will play a part in!
