Night Festival Peranakan Museum

Wow. It's our second time attending Night Festival and first time into Peranakan Museum. All of us had so much fun.

7pm: We met at Bras Basah MRT and came out from EXIT A. We headed to Kopitiam to have our dinner.

8pm: We headed to Peranakan Museum along Armenian Street and it's only 5 minutes walk. The whole facade is so well kept and looked so majestic. We went in and was so amazed by the culture of Nyonyas and Babas in the past. They really took pride in their own culture, their gifts, way of life, dressing, food and also their bedroom! And alot of them are actually lost in the dilution of modern culture.

Josh loved the telephone section whereby they displayed three old phone designs and it's quite cute because they have people talking!

We went pass National museum and the whole area turned into a party. So beautiful and there is a lady, tied to a crane, and danced in circles, moving just like an angel.

Time passed very fast, soon it's 10pm and we headed home and Josh and Kate were so happy.

Group picture of us along Armenian Street. Look at the number of people.

Josh loves the old phone design. Amazed by the number and the head phone.

Kate sat on the ledge and finally got her touch on the vintage phone.
During the photo shoot, I carried Kate and Josh wanted to tag, so I hugged on to two of them!

Overall, I would say that the events are back to back and you need quite a few hours to go to most of the exhibits. Enjoy!
