27 FEB 2007 This is the date I will always remember. The date that I joined Insurance as a career. I knew nothing about the industry and this was how I grew and learnt! Thinking back, the journey was not smooth but enjoyable. It was the rejections, countless prospecting and showing of plans that made me realise that financial planning takes more than just signing on the dotted line. Throughout these 13 years of experience, it made me realise that something didn’t change at all. People are still under insured and not knowing which are the suitable vehicles to grow their income. I am very pleased to know that the platform that I am at, gives me the flexibility to plan for my clients. In terms of fair scope of plans from various companies, my clients can choose and be well-informed on the changes of their coverage and what I can offer for them! Manulife Financial Advisers has given me a greater opportunity to manage my client’s well-diversified portfolios and it made me closer to...
I'm not sure whether do I really want to post this. But recently, I have been thinking about what is the purpose of us here on Earth. What is your purpose? In fact, every year, they 'remove' the thousands animals that under their care. I'm not sure it's true. -Magazines of stars who are famous because they are buff and they are shirtless in movies. So what! -Celebrities who are together and broken up. -Radiation in Japan What is these significance value for all these? Money? Fame? What do we humans gain at the end of the day? I really have no idea. However, I felt a little affected when I saw the female elephant being hunted in Vietnam. And they left about 100 of their kind the...
I love to read articles whereby how Singaporeans can raise a large family. In the old days, our grandparents can easily give birth to 8-9 children and that's a norm! Cost of living is low then? I'm not really sure but what I know is they are usually well-knitted and they ate lots of home cooked food! Anyway, there are some well-known Singaporeans who have more than 3 children and their families are very happy and successful. They are namely 1. Fandi Ahmad and Wendy Jacobs 2. Darren Lim and Evelyn Tan Fandi Ahmad's Family What amazes me is that they have 5 children! Their age are 15, 13, 12, 10 and 6. And all of them look so good! Two elder sons represent well in sports in their school and their eldest daughter is an excellent sprinter! I'll be so proud of my children if they are successful in the field they like, isn't it? And somehow both Fandi and Wendy are managing their careers well. I guess it's the love for each other and the children that keeps the bond...
