Today attended the Festival of Praise and I am really amazed by the crowd as well as the pastors. Woo... learnt alot too.... and enjoyed the rock music! Haa...




Look at all the seats! They are all taken up and filled with pple at the Indoor StadiuM! Cool!


Also met up with a super senior of CACS camp! He's name is Daniel (or is it David). Well, he's a friend of Mika and he's really very enthusiastic about orientation camps. And we were sharing about Ethelonter I as he was a councillor then. Ha... Found out that NUS Community Service Club indeed is a friendly background to start with.

About the past camps, these were what he shared with me which I find super amazing.
-For beach games, all the station ICs were girls and they wore bikini carrying scoreboards.
-The ghosts in Frightnight - some went shirtless and acted really like zombie. And will vomit things out after seeing the freshmen. Cool right?
-They had 200 over freshmen and councillors attending the camp. Really a large group.
-Their Welfare team had once organised a 'catch ghost' trip at Old Changi Hospital and many pple signed up for it. But they did not encounter any.


From him, I just felt that CACS (Cultural Activities Community Service Club) certainly a superonz club and also would put 100% in their projects. Well done, CACS people! Cool!

Kate's 2! A simple birthday celebration!

Kate turns 2 years old on 11th July 2013! And coincidentally, it's 2 day old for our new born too! We had to celebrate it at Mount Alvenia and it's certainly a fun celebration for Kate, and it's a simple affair too! We didn't manage to cook dinner and we ordered extra meals from the hospital. It's only $8 per set and they provide soup, vegetables and meat, fruits and juice! Really worth it. They only can provide a maximum of 3 meals! Josh ate all his rice and Kate loves the fish! Amazing. Of course, we didn't tell them that we are having birthday cake later. Or else, they will not be eating much of their dinner. Family feast! Love the pork vinegar dish! Oops! Pouring some of our home cooked soup that I prepared for lunch. Luckily we brought because we finished all the soups! Mother and son. Kate is such a loving sister. Today, it's a fun day, well sort of. Got up and rushed straight to French Embassy for my first french lesson (beginner course). My teacher is Franck. He's a humorous teacher and overall, I find that french is an exquiste language, very special and interesting. I've learnt basic greetings for today. And time really passed very fast after learning. The classmates are of different background and age, and we are all having the same base of french (aka, having no knowledge at all) haa.. Yiwen and I actually wanna go to Orchard. However, we took the wrong side. We took 171 to Bukit Timah area instead! Then we U-turned. I went to Pointers to cut my hair. And it happened that the manager cut my hair. So lucky eh? Not many people would have the chance to actually cut by him, have to make appointment and pay $20.
